PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING! Sasha & Millie are a 1.5 yo female bonded pair (littermates). They will only be adopted together. They are approx. 17 lbs. Sasha is white and Millie is a white with black parti. The are looking for a home in PA, DE, MD, VA, or DC. They are up to date on vaccines, heartworm/Lyme tested, and will be spayed before leaving rescue. Both girls are housetrained. They are used to a quiet, less active environment with a fenced yard. They are not used to walking on a leash so their foster is working on leash training. They are friendly and playful. An adopter will be required to take Sasha and Millie through dog obedience training and continue to work on leash training.. If you would like to be considered to adopt Sasha and Millie, you must first apply. Please contact schnauzerrescue@outlook.com for our rescue's adoption application. Please be sure to keep a watch on your Spam and Junk folders if you don't see a response in your email inbox. If you've already applied, please contact schnauzerrescue@outlook.com to be added to the list of those being considered. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm/Lyme tested and spayed/neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility to visit our rescue schnauzers. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications from these areas. For a rescue contact in other areas, please go to our website http://www.schnauzerrescue.net and click on Rescue Links. We have a need for volunteers in Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our website features lots of great information about the rescue process, book reviews and training tips. You can donate to Sasha and Millie's care at http://schnauzerrescue.net/Donate.htm via PayPal or check. All donations go to the veterinary fund and are tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Thanks for your support!

Story
Hi - My name is Kylo and I am a new member of the AARF family. I am a Miniature Schnauzer mix, but because I am brand new to these parts, there's not much more known about me or my personality just yet. If you check back a little later, I'm sure my foster parents will have a lot more information to post about me. If you have any questions, though, feel free to send an email to info@animalalliesrescue.org. or if you just think it's love at first sight, please fill out an adoption application at this site - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org and choose me - Kylo!My adoption fee is $350. AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). We've been tested for heartworm and other tick borne diseases (4DX), and we've started our heartworm and flea preventive medications. Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Story
Eloise (white), Hazel (grey), Bee (grey) and Clover (white) are 4 month-old old female puppies who joined AARF about a month ago as an owner surrender. They are typical happy, playful pups who will do well in a home that has the necessary time to house-train them and start them on the path to being wonderful canine companions! Since puppies this young require a lot of attention, oversight and training, ideal adopters will be home most of the time or have a plan in place to help them with the time commitment house-training requires. Schnauzers require regular, professional grooming (every 4-6 weeks) to keep them comfortable and free of painful mats. Each of these puppies will have had a first grooming appointment prior to adoption; potential adopters need to commit to a consistent professional care routine for their application to be considered. If you think your home would be a great fit for Eloise, Hazel, Clover or Bee apply today! We will not adopt out pairs of puppies to the same home. You can indicate a specific puppy by name, or ask to be considered for any of them. If you have any questions feel free to send an email to info@animalalliesrescue.org or if you think it's love at first sight, please fill out an adoption application at this site - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org. Their adoption fee is $400. The adoption package covers spay/neuter, microchipping, age appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP, testing for heartworm and other tick borne diseases (if of appropriate age), and monthly flea and heartworm preventatives.
