Asha’s owners loved her, but had a farm and she had a taste for the owner's chickens and made the choice to surrender her. Asha is high energy and loves to play, but also loves her snuggles and to be with people. She has tested well with dogs, but due to her prey drive towards chickens, we are hesitant to suggest a home with small animals/cats. Asha is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home. This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org . Boone is the happiest boy you will ever meet and very beautiful. His name should be Mr. waddle ;he shakes his butt with excitement to see his people. He loves people, loves playing with dogs, and loves being outside. He is crate trained, house trained, sleeps very well, up to date on shots administered at home, pure bred but no papers. He would probably be a great squirrel dog, we just haven’t trained him on that yet. He has been strictly an indoor family pet, but our older mountain cur gets super anxious from Boone’s playfulness and excitement. Boone would prefer a house with another playful dog, or a super involved person to play with and walk with. Thunder Blood bloodline, we do not have the papers tho.

Giotti is a cute little brindle guy who came to us from another shelter. They tell us that he's sweet and affectionate but seems to have had a rough life. He came to them emaciated and frightened of hands. He's doing better but he will need a patient gentle family. A volunteer tossed him a cookie and he was terrified. He is always wagging his tail so much so that the other shelter had to dock it because he kept hitting it on the kennel walls and it wouldn't heal. (Don't worry. He didn't notice!) He loves other dogs and would enjoy a playful friend!
