Rescued from the pound by the compassionate team at Crossed Paws, Tyson is ready to bring joy and excitement into your life. Tyson is a spirited and playful guy who adores stretching out his legs and lounging in the yard. His enthusiasm for life is contagious, and he is always up for a game of fetch or a leisurely stroll. His favorite pastime? Chewing on pig ears – a quirky trait that adds to his irresistible charm. This handsome pup gets along famously with other dogs and kids, making him an ideal companion for families and individuals alike. While Tyson's feelings about cats are uncertain, his adaptable nature suggests he may warm up with proper introductions. Rest assured, Tyson is a responsible canine citizen – he's neutered, microchipped, and has undergone 4DX and heartworm testing (both negative). Additionally, he has received vaccinations for rabies and DHLPP, been dewormed, and treated for fleas and ticks. Although Tyson was initially Lyme positive, he has undergone 30 days of Doxycycline. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Introducing Carlos: Your Future Adventure Companion! Hey there, potential forever friend! My name is Carlos, and I'm a 2-year-old bundle of energy and charm. I'm a striking brindle Mountain Cur mix with a heart full of love and a curiosity for life. Back in the day, I was bred to hunt small game, so I might not be the best roommate for cats. But if you're a fan of canines with a dash of adventure, I might just be the perfect match for you! I'm all about the human snuggle game – it's something I've been itching to try out. My journey so far has had its twists and turns, but I've remained a good-natured and spirited pup. While I'm still learning the ropes, I'm a clever fellow who's up for any challenge, especially if you're patient and willing to teach me. The ball's in your court – I'm ready to be the best companion I can be! You'll often find me by the fence, gazing out in anticipation of an angel who will take me to my forever home. I'm neutered, microchipped, and have a clean bill of health after some testing and treatment. I've got all my vaccinations, I'm dewormed, and I've even got the flea and tick situation sorted out. For more adorable pictures, heartwarming videos, and detailed information, please visit our website.  If you're ready to embark on this exciting journey together, fill out the adoption application on our website. So, are you ready to add a dash of excitement and a ton of love to your life? I'm Carlos, and I'm waiting for my next adventure to begin – with you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Meatloaf, a stunning Mountain Cur & Labrador Retriever mix, showcasing a striking brindle and white coat. This handsome boy, at six years old and weighing in at 62 pounds, is not only a sight to behold but a charming and affectionate companion. Having experienced some challenges recently, Meatloaf is a bit cautious in new environments and with unfamiliar faces. However, it doesn't take long for his loving nature to emerge, revealing a slightly active bundle of joy with a polite demeanor. When approached, he graciously asks for hugs and kisses, showcasing his gentle and loving side. Meatloaf's social skills shine when it comes to interacting with children and adults, making him a wonderful addition to families. While his compatibility with cats is unknown, he tends to prefer his own space around other dogs and appreciates being left alone at the shelter. His escape talents hint at a distaste for confinement, so an ideal home for this Houdini enthusiast would include a high-fenced yard. In the short time we've had him, Meatloaf has already mastered the 'sit' and 'paw' commands, demonstrating his high intelligence and eagerness to learn. Teaching him new tricks and commands promises to be a delightful and rewarding experience for both Meatloaf and his future family. Meatloaf is ready to embark on his new journey with a loving family. If you're interested in making Meatloaf a part of your home, visit the Crossed Paws Animal Shelter website (https://cpas.rescuegroups.org) for more information. You can also reach out via phone at (740) 934-2693, email at cpas43793@hotmail.com, or visit our Facebook page at Crossed Paws Animal Shelter. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is Bruno Mars, much more handsome than my namesake, if I do say so myself. My one blue eye  gives me a unique look. I'm a pretty active guy and would love to have a fenced yard or a very active family who will take me on adventures. I'd make an excelllent hiking buddy. I seem to get along with most dogs, and would love a meet and greet with any dogs in your home. About cats- thats an entirely different story- they are made for one thing...chasing!! So no cats for me! Older children and teens would be best for me. I have been neuterd, completely vaccinated, combo tested (I did test positive for Lyme Disease and have had my 30-day doxycycline treatment),  and my preventives are up to date. If I sound like your kind of guy, please visit olivebranchwv.org to fill out the adoption applicaiton.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 17, 2024, 11:41 am

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Cameo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Cameo, a beautiful name for a beautiful gal like me. I have the sweet natured attitude that will make me a great family addition. At 2 years old, I'm also at a great age where as I'm still playful but way past that destructive puppy stage. That sure makes for a nice combo for my new family. Oh and another nice thing...I'm already house trained too!! I have an amazing tiger striped pattern in my coat and show stopping amber colored eyes which make for a stunning combo!! My hairytage of the Mountain Cur and the Plott hound makes for the beautiful swirling stripe pattern of my coat, a genetic characteristic. My personality is sweet, sweet, sweet and I am very human oriented. I love giving and getting kisses and spending time with my people. Also, for a medium sized dog of 55ish lbs, I am a great snuggler!! I will wrap myself around my Foster Mum and delight in the attention!! I will stay there snuggling for as long as she has time! I walk well on leash and know how to sit and stay. I have great focus and pay attention really well. I am a people pleaser and will try to do whatever it takes to make you happy!! I get on well with most all other doggies and enjoy romping in the yard getting a good game of keep away or tag you're it going but I LOVE hoomans and haven't met a stranger yet, I'm pretty sure everyone is here just to give me lots of lovins!! :) I'm a great size to make you a pawsome action adventure type companion, whether it's going for neighborhood strolls, camping trips or hikes in the wilderness, I'm willing and ready! And then after our fun, I love my beloved snuggles by the fireplace (on the couch is fine too). I'm up for trying it all with...YOU!!
