Story
Hi, I’m Cardi and I’m looking for a forever home! I’m a playful and independent dog who loves to have fun. I enjoy entertaining my human and canine friends alike. I’m a silly and fun-loving dog who likes to play and interact with other dogs. I’m always ready to make new friends and have a good time. I love playing tug-of-war or chase with my furry buddies. But don’t worry, I’m not clingy or needy. I also like to do my own thing sometimes, like chewing on my favorite toys or exploring new places. My love of toys is unmatched, and I'll happily spend hours playing with them, chasing them around or snuggling up with them at nap time. I’m not afraid of being alone, but I’m always happy to see you when you come back. I’m a smart dog who knows how to sit and wants to learn more. I’m also potty-trained and walk well on a leash, so you can take me anywhere you want. I love going on walks or hikes with you. I have a lot of good energy and will need exercise, but I also love to cuddle and nap with you after a long day. I’m looking for an active family who loves to play and spend time outdoors. I would love to have some doggy siblings too, as long as they are friendly and playful like me. I’m not picky about the size or breed of my new family, as long as they have a lot of love and patience for me. I’m a 1.5-year-old, 45 lb., terrier mix. I have been vaccinated, am heartworm negative and am up to date on vaccines. If you think I’m the perfect dog for you, please contact For the Love of Woofers today and ask for Cardi! I can’t wait to meet you and start our new life together! Located in Knoxville, TN. For the Love of Woofers dogs can be transported to the following states: Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Story
Meet Reba! Reba was living as a stray in Jellico along with Waylon for approx 3 yrs. Shes so glad to be in rescue w creature comforts and regular meals. Very affectionate and grateful little girl! Reba loves car rides, leash walks and a chance to run and play. She lives a comfy bed! Shes housebroken and crate trained. She will need a fence higher than 4 feet tall. Reba loves Waylon and would like to adopt with him but would prefer more to have a home with people who love and adore her. She has successfully completed her heartworm treatment and is on preventative. Shes been spayed (previously had at least 3 litters with Waylon). Brown dogs traditionally have a hard time adopting and this girl has so much love to give. Would you consider giving her a home? Please contact us at lifelongbuddies01@gmail.com

Story
Everyone, welcome Aspen (‘Spen) to the foster family! Available for adoption through Anderson County Animal Shelter What we know about Aspen so far! 1. A brindle hound/terrier mix standing at around 25ish pounds (give or take). She is approximately 5 months old and has had her first set of vaccines and dewormer. I believe she will probably be a medium size dog, but take that with a grain of salt. 2. She is sweet as honey! She loves to be with her humans, laying on the couch, napping, or occasionally asking you to play with her. She is really into TV, especially National Geographic and loves to watch the animals. 3. She LOVES stuffies! Big ones, little ones, blankets, pillows, anything that she can cuddle with. She loves squeakers now and is learning how to actually use them 4. She’s pretty independent, but loves other dogs. She’s very submissive while playing and does love to just chill in her crate by herself and play with her toys. 5. We have had one accident in the house since getting her from the shelter and it was only because we didn’t recognize her cue! No accidents in the crate either! 6. She is very, very shy right now because I don’t think she knows how to be a dog quite yet. Small things still frighten her, but we’re working on it! Our dogs have taught her how to play though and she’s learning that the crate is her safe space, even if we’re not there with her. 7. She is SASSYYYY and loves to talk and argue. She will tell you exactly how she’s feeling any time you ask her, which is pretty cute. 8. She’s doing well with recall and likes to stay close to her humans or to the other dogs while in the yard. Aspen is available for adoption through Anderson County Animal Shelter! Her adoption fee covers her vaccines and her spay! If you’re interested in learning more about Aspen or in adopting her, please reach out to foster Sara Bean at 865-441-1922

Story
We found Sasha as a puppy on the streets malnourished with scars of unknown origin, we took her in to be a part of our family after losing our eldest dog at the time. She is around 4-5years old we have a 12yr old doberman that she gets along with but shows food aggression towards and they have had some disagreements over the last year. She is a good dog loves people and kids also loves to be outside most of the time apart from cold and wet conditions. She is an active dog and would love to go on adventures with you. She does well riding in the car and pretty good out in public, we used to take our dogs out to pubs with us and restaurants while we traveled. She is trained on in ground dog fence and some commands, we have been working on keeping them off the furniture and beds.
