Story
Lance is an adorable 2.5 month old mixed breed male puppy. He weighs about 10 pounds. We would expect him to be medium size when fully grown. He has a beautiful golden and brown coat. Lance is a fun pup who loves people, other dogs, cats, and loves to play. Lance has been working hard on potty training, but being that he is just a young puppy, his new family should be prepared for a few accidents while he learns the routine at his new home in WI. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday May 3rd, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that he is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Story
Puppies are magnificent! I am cute, rambunctious, lively and fun. I have so much to learn, discover and explore - just a tiny sponge who is ready to absorb everything you have to teach me and show me. I am counting on you to help me safely navigate the world and experience new things each day to allow me to grow into a confident young dog. That isn't as exotic and daunting a task as it might sound. Each day I just need to be introduced to one new thing like the sound of a vacuum, a blender or a door bell, walking up and down a step, a ride in a car, hearing a motorcycle or a truck, going somewhere to see new people, even maneuvering a fallen log on a walk. You get the idea, so many things that seem common to you are completely new to me. Speaking of growing, I may be tiny now but I do plan on getting bigger so I would love to take obedience classes to learn proper manners and social skills. I also know I have to practice something called house-training so I know proper potty behavior. A routine and lots of yummy treats and praise will go a long way to helping me master house-training when I potty outside. Puppies and dogs need love, exercise, mental stimulation and consistency to be healthy, happy and confident. I am typically very open to all sorts of housemates; I can be a bit mischievous and may find any other critter as a potential playmate so they will need to understand that about me. I often explore the world with my mouth and while I am teething I like to chew; my little puppy teeth are very sharp so if I am around children we should always be supervised. It is important that children learn about respecting me, too, and treat me gently because I am fragile. Raising a puppy is a big responsibility, a lot of work, and it may interrupt your sleep cycle for a bit, but a courteous and well-behaved dog is certainly worth the investment and I promise to be loyal, love you unconditionally and be a companion forever. I just know I will bring joy and laughter into your home and cannot wait to meet you. Let the adventures begin!

Besides the fact that this darling little girl is adorable, she's also a lot of fun to have around! She's energetic! She's playful! She's affectionate! She is house trained, and she is kennel trained. She walks very nicely on leash. She's wonderful with children. She would make an excellent hiking partner Would be perfect for a family who spends time outdoors! She's in a foster home in Memphis Tennessee. Once an application has been submitted and approved, the foster family would be happy to speak with you and tell you all about her! Once adopted, she will travel on rescue vet transport to the north east. They travel each weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday morning at 6 AM and traveling to the northeast delivering newly adopted pets. They travel as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. You will find that our volunteer team is very responsive so please submit your application only when you're ready to adopt your new pet! As always, thank you for adopting! we have included the link to our adoption application for your convenience. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9
