SAFE IN FOSTER!! Twenty three senior animals left behind after owner suddenly dies in Montezuma County, Colorado. Old dogs, several with either one or both eyes missing are scattered throughout the property. Small dogs, nearly all over the age of ten years, romped through feces scattered about the home they have occupied most of their lives. Miniature donkeys aged twenty or so years occupy adjacent pens. Even two cats, one that has been FIV positive for years are in need of help. Their rescuers have passed away suddenly, leaving no plan in place for them and so local areas rescue organizations are stepping in. Denkai Animal Sanctuary with the help of Deborah Davis is leading the effort to find homes and rescues willing to take these sweet souls in. ##1940873##
