Story
Hi. My name is Loki and here is some info about me: Breed: King Charles Spaniel/Spitz mixAge: 1 YearGender: MaleWeight:13 lbHeight: 11 inch Highlight(s): Good with other dogs, cats, people, no sign of aggression or guarding,  Hi there, I'm Loki, a one-year-old King Charles Spaniel Spitz cross with a heart full of love and a story to share. Life didn't start off easy for me - I was abandoned by my owner. But don't worry, I'm ready to leave the past behind and leap into a future filled with belly rubs, walks, and endless play. I'm what you might call a medium-energy pup. I love my daily exercise – walks, fetch, you name it! I'm great with other dogs, cats, and humans alike. Making friends is one of my favorite things, and I'll wag my tail happily at anyone who wants to be pals. I've got this leash-walking thing down pat, and I'm house trained too. Yep, I'm a smart cookie, always eager to learn new tricks. Show me a treat, and I'll show you how quickly I can pick up something new. I dream of a forever family who'll love me, challenge me and teach me cool stuff. Cuddling is my specialty. There's nothing better than snuggling up with my humans and giving them a few doggie kisses. It is really hard to get much attention at the shelter and I am dying for some one on one time with my humans. I'm not possessive about my food or toys, and my rescue mom has not noticed any prey drive. Just a happy-go-lucky pup looking for a family to call my own. I can't wait for the day when I find my forever home – a family that'll take me on walks, play with me in the park and cuddles with me on the couch for some extra love. I'm a bundle of joy, and I know I'll bring endless happiness to any family that welcomes me into their hearts. Till then, I shall paitiently wait and cross my paws. Energy Level: Medium/high requires daily physical activities. I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yesKids: unknown, rescuer states yes, but no video proof Fears: Unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Training: yes/ minimal, please be patient with me. I am a very fast learner and given the opportunity, I will learn all the tricks there is in no time.Leash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training me.House trained:Please be prepared to help me learn where to go in my new home.  Health notes: I have been neutered, dewormed, microchipped and up to date on my vaccination. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##1915473##

Story
Hi. My name is Luna and here is some info about me: Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spanier Terrier mixAge: 2.5 yearGender: FemaleWeight:13 lbHeight: 9 inch Highlight(s): Good with other dogs, cats, and people. Hi there! My name's Luna, and I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life! Life has been a bit confusing for me lately, but I'm trying to stay hopeful. You see, I used to have a family who I loved with all my heart. But one day, they left me in front of an animal hospital, and I couldn't understand why. Luckily, a kind soul found me and brought me to the shelter, but I've been feeling really sad and lost ever since. Despite everything, I'm still a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. I've made lots of friends here at the shelter, both human and furry, including kitties. I can be a little shy when I first meet someone but, it takes me no time to warm up. There's nothing I love more than being around people, feeling their gentle pats and belly rubs. Sharing my space with other dogs is no problem for me – I've never been one to show aggression or guard my toys. I'm really hoping to find my forever family soon. I want to show them just how much love and joy I can bring into their lives. They say my personality and adorable face make me one of the favorites here at the shelter. I'm also quite smart and eager to learn new tricks – I'd love to impress my new family with all the things I can do. In my dreams, I see myself going for walks and exploring new places. Maybe one day, I'll even get to go to the park and make some new furry friends. That would be so much fun! But for now, I'll patiently wait for the day when my forever family comes to take me home. I can't wait to make unforgettable memories with them, filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Energy Level: Medium/high still a puppy and requires daily physical activities.
