Story
Fabio is a very lovable ~4 year old neutered male, possibly a Papillon-Corgi-Dachsund mix. He’s a low-rise and chunky 30 lb. lovebug with a long and luxuriously soft coat. He loves nothing more than cuddling on his person’s lap. His eyesight isn’t 100% so he needs time to get familiar with new places. But he quickly maps out his home territory. He loves to play with other small dogs and mostly ignores the cat. He does the cutest dance with kicks when he’s excited and happy about something. He’s vaccinated, chipped, and heart worm negative and he’s beyond ready to find his forever home and unconditional love with some lucky person or family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143April 8, 2024, 12:24 pm

Story
Cottontail is as sweet as can be and loves being close to her people. While shy at first, she warms up quickly. She's content laying at your feet or on your lap, and appreciates pets as often as she can get them. She is very treat motivated and responds well to correction and praise. She has had a couple accidents but is otherwise doing well with house training. She sleeps quietly in her kennel overnight. Cottontail is a quiet, calm, and sensitive, and would do best in a home that has those qualities. She would do best in a lower energy home with older or no children. She walks well on a leash and a short daily walk is more than sufficient for her energy levels. While she has no issues with the resident dog, she would not make the best playmate, as she is currently not interested in play. Cottontail will make an excellent companion dog! Cottontail is a 1.5-year-old mixed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and spayed. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
