Happy December! This month we are featuring as many of our adoptable dogs as we can to hopefully get them home for the holidays 🎄 Kit Kat is a a 8-9 month old Plott Hound mix. He’s one of our longest standing residents and super sad that he hasn’t found his own family yet. He loves people of all ages. He is great with other dogs and cats. He was part of a large litter and came in with several other hound litters and the competition meant that somebody had to be the last one standing. 😞 KitKat is a dog who just loves to lean into you when you stand, will lay by your feet while you’re at your desk and will have his head in your lap when you’re on the couch. Please come through for him for Christmas! KitKat is neutered, heartworm negative and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is micro chipped and has had flea and tick prevention. Dog friendly and people friendly. Can be timid at first with men but overall not aggressive and eventually warms up quickly. He Hasn’t been tested with other animals besides dogs yet.   Wade, Weston and Warren are 15-week-old mixes of Plott Hound and Lab! They were found in the woods and a Good Samaritan rescued them and took them to safety. They weigh 9-14 puppy pounds now and should mature to around 45 pounds. These boys are so cuddly and so loving! They love being around people and other dogs, and even do well with cats! Wade wears a short red/brown and white coat while Weston and Warren wear short brown and white coats with a brindle pattern! These pups have great temperaments and are ready to be in their family’s arms! Won’t you adopt one of these precious babies? Handsome and elegant, that's how they describe Stanley who was found as a stray with an old eye injury that doesn't slow him down. He is very well-trained and has even completed a board & train program. Stanley's professional training comes with lifetime follow-ups if needed. Stanley loves going for rides in the car if you'd like company. This boy would do best with an owner that will provide him with the structure to which he has become accustomed.  He loves the outdoors and is excellent on a leash. He would be a great dog to take on your outdoor adventures and he especially loves to go on long hikes! When it comes to other dogs, he seems to prefer female over male dogs. He does get along with cats though. Stanley is 7 years old and weighs 55 pounds. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is ready to move in if you'll have him! Skylar was adopted by her dad when she was 3 months old. At first the landlord said it was okay to have her in his house but now that Skylar is 6 months old he wants her gone - says she is too noisy and has to go because he can hear her running on the floor & playing with toys. Skylar's dad is besides himself and he is trying to find a loving, safe place for Skylar. She is a Plott Hound mix who weighs 60 pounds - she is a friendly girl who is house trained and crate trained.
