I brought him into my home which also has an adult german sherpard with sore hips and the interaction is too much for her to take long term. Duke loves going to the doggie park and runs like the wind. He is crate trained, house broken and knows the basic commands: sit, wait. fetch, etc.

Hi Josh!!! This brindle boy is a Plott Hound mix we guess. He’s about 50 pounds and about a year old. He’s completely vetted, heartworm negative and ready for some permanent digs that will surely be an upgrade from where he came from. Josh was found abandoned, tied to a pole with two other adult dogs and three puppies without shelter, food or water. It is typically impossible to find someone willing to take on a pack of abandoned dogs in one day, but that is exactly what his foster did. Without his foster moms, these dogs stood a zero chance at a life. Josh adores his foster pack, is crate trained, doing well with house training and would make a fabulous running partener. **This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** My name is Tabitha but my friends call me Tabby. I was very nervous after having been rescued from the streets of Houston but I have warmed up and am now one of the wriggliest, happiest pups at the shelter! I am quiet, reserved but enthusiastic, and am told that I am great company. Every person I meet is my new BFF, and while I'm not a fan of other dogs cats are pretty cool with me! I've been told it's a bad habit, but I am the queen at destroying stuffed toys - it's just so FUN!! My biggest achievement since arriving at the shelter is a doozie -- getting truly healthy. I've beaten CANCER and heartworms!!! I had a tumor growing in my uterus but all is well now and I can't think of a better way to celebrate being all healthy than by finding a comfy couch all of my own!
