He is absolutely adorable, and such a fantastic dog.  A note from foster mom: “Rio is a such a sweet and playful boy! He loves playing with his foster brothers and is learning to play tug. He will run in the yard, play with his own toys and even cuddle during the work day sometimes. He likes to know his human is close, but is learning to be a little more brave with his foster brothers leading the way.  He does really well in the kennel both during the day and overnight. With potty breaks every 2 hours during the day, and supervised play time there have been no accidents in the house or kennel so far.  He eats well in his kennel and is such an amazing puppy! Bug's owner is ill and no longer able to care for her. Bug is housebroken, leash-trained, and crate trained. She loves kids and other dogs. Bug is a really sweet girl who loves to take walks and hikes. She is current on all vet care and her shots. Bug weighs 42 pounds and we estimate she is between 4-5 years old. We will provide all of the things needed to take care of her including her large, high-quality crate, bed, leash, collars, food and water bowls, a bag of food, shampoo, mousse for her coat, grooming brush, a coat, a bag of her favorite toys, etc. We live in Baltimore County and are temporarily taking care of Bug. Birdie is a sweet name for this sweet and spicy girl! She is a pointer mix and definitely has the drive of a pointer, in a smaller body :) I found myself recently, wandering around in S Texas looking for a loving family to save me! Luckily I found just the right foster family! Now, I TRY not to chase the chickens on their mini farm...however, haven't you heard?? Chicken is the first white meat and I just like it! SoOOOOO, needless to say, Birdie is not good with prey type animals in the house- cats, chickens, cute birds, lizards, etc etc.... Birdie does have some AMAZING qualities as well.... I LOVE KIDS!!! (there I said it), I would be and ideal family dog. I love other playful dogs as well so that is no problem to meld into a famil with their other dog.
