Story
Handsome Prancer is about 1 year old and we think he is a English Pointer x Smooth Coat Collie mix. Prancer is a curious boy and about a medium energy level boy. He is not a barker at all. He weighs about 50lbs and will not get bigger. This gorgeous boy is sweet and friendly once he knows you a little. He came running up to the ranch where we house many of our dogs and seems to love all dogs! We think he was dumped by someone there and he may have been abused - he was so scared of people at first. After a few days, he realized he had come to the right address and he will only be loved from here on out. His adopter will need to continue to show him lots of love and have patience with him as he overcomes his past. He has a beautiful shiny coat and is an athletic boy. Prancer will do well in a family with other dogs and would love to be your work-out partner! Or hiking or any other adventures you can think of :-) He will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.

Story
Momo is a very chill, quiet dog. He is really just a couch potato who wants to be near humans. He is also the typical Velcro dog that will follow you everywhere. Overall, he is very sweet and a bit of a scaredy cat – doesn’t like to go around large objects or is easily frightened by sudden movements. He is not good around cats but it’s gentle and patient with children. He would be good as an only dog or around older or very chill dogs. to meet me email BARCFoster@houstontx.gov

Story
Are you ready to meet Dr Pepper, the ultimate cuddle buddy?  This playful and loving pup is absolutely delighted when he's next to his human companions. This little furball is the most determined little pup you've ever seen! He is so close to being potty trained, he can practically do it with his eyes closed. And let's not forget his amazing effort in trying to conquer that pesky crate and master the art of walking on a leash. While he may not be the biggest fan of these challenges, his determination will surely impress you! This litter has been part of our rescue since birth, and now he's eagerly awaiting his perfect forever home. If you're someone who can't resist snuggling up with an adorable furry friend, Dr Pepper is the ideal companion for you. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this little bundle of joy into your life! But that's not all! This fantastic canine comes with a bonus - he's available for adoption in both the picturesque Pacific Northwest and the vibrant East Coast. Whether you're a Canadian resident looking for a new furry friend or a local on the East Coast, we've got you covered. We even offer transportation services, including a drop in Bellingham, WA for our fellow Canadian adopters. Now, you must be wondering about the adoption fees and all the important details. Well, worry not! Just head over to our website at www.springbranchrescue.org to find all the information you need. Get ready to welcome this incredibly determined pup into your loving home and watch him thrive with your support. If we are based in Houston, then how can you see our posts? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. We do not have a physical shelter. All of our adoptable pets are living with local foster families which will make the transition into your household a whole lot easier.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. Story
Claire is a young beautiful girl that loves to hang out with her people. She is truly an amazing dog that is ready to start a new life with a family that will give her love and nurturing. She is a great walking companion with best-in-class leash manners. Claire has all basic commands mastered (and has been through formal training even). Additionally, she is kennel trained and wants nothing more than to have your 1000% undivided attention. Claire takes treats gently, but gets completely excited for a peanutbutter filled frozen Kong treat! Claire's likes include: dress-up, blueberries, and belly rubs. Claire has so much it makes her have a hard time sharing her people, but she's made big strides. Claire will do best in an only dog home. Slow introductions are advised until she understands you are there to advocate and be her leader. Once she knows you, Claire loves cuddles, praise, and watching a movie together. If you want to meet Claire, please fill out an adoption application: https://forgottencoastanimalrescue.org/adoption-application
