Birdie is a sweet name for this sweet and spicy girl! She is a pointer mix and definitely has the drive of a pointer, in a smaller body :) I found myself recently, wandering around in S Texas looking for a loving family to save me! Luckily I found just the right foster family! Now, I TRY not to chase the chickens on their mini farm...however, haven't you heard?? Chicken is the first white meat and I just like it! SoOOOOO, needless to say, Birdie is not good with prey type animals in the house- cats, chickens, cute birds, lizards, etc etc.... Birdie does have some AMAZING qualities as well.... I LOVE KIDS!!! (there I said it), I would be and ideal family dog. I love other playful dogs as well so that is no problem to meld into a famil with their other dog. Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Sam is a beautiful 5 year old, 70lb, Pointer mix! He loves cuddles and kisses, car rides and walks! He would be a great active companion and would absolutely thrive from some more mental and physical stimulation! He is dog selective and tends to do better with smaller, female dogs. No small animals, including cats or chickens. He can be left home alone, free roaming, while his person is at work. This guy would do best in a home without young children. He has a bit of a bubble - and needs older children that would understand his boundaries. He has had basic training (Come, Down, Shake, Sit and Stay) and has also worked with KARE for resource guarding behavior. We will happily continue his training at a discount. As with most Gun Dog breeds, he is outgoing, enthusiastic and doting. He also needs to keep that brain working and so needs a home that is active! Fenced in yard required. Adopters must live in Western Washington. Fosters must live in Kitsap County, WA.

Introducing Sierra Mist and her siblings from The Soda Pop Litter! Against all odds, their courageous mama managed to survive while pregnant, even in the face of danger. Can you believe someone actually threatened to harm her if we didn't help? Thankfully, momma was lucky enough to have been rescued by our team 2 days before giving birth!!!!!
