Adoption fee: $750.00 Bio: Casper here. I am a sweet pomeranian boy who was born January 18, 2022. I am 2 years old, and I love to play in the yard, be brushed on your lap. . I would excel at dog agility or fly ball as I love to run and play. . I require basic force free dog obedience training classes. I can't wait to meet Joanna at For The Love of Paws Pet Services. This is a mandatory requirement to adopt me from Heart Prints Dog Rescue Society. This Non - Negotiable. . You and I, my future family, are going to have so much fun together. I just know it. . I am learning about house training. If I am barking in my crate, I want to be let outside. I really, really need to go to the washroom, hence why I will bark then. If you don't get me outside to potty when I ask I will start shredding my dog bedding in frustration in my crate. . I love dog cookies in my crate or some kibble for a snack before bedtime. I am crate trained for a medium sized hardsided crate or a wire kennel in my foster home placement. I currently sleep in one from Walmart that has quick release latches on the side. . House training: I pee and poop outside if put outside on a regular schedule. I am also washable pee pad trained. I will use a washable pee pad to poop and pee on after breakfast if you don’t let me outside in time. It takes me a while to decide on peeing so you have to wait with Me a couple of minutes because I want to run and play then I forget what I was supposed to do. . Meal times - Fed twice a day. Currently I loves eating dehydrated raw topper on his kibble. Nulo brand, Stella and Chewy you get the idea. I love veggies and cooked hamburger with my kibble mixed together best day ever when you do that for me. . Grooming- Brushing and need to see a groomer who knowledgeable about Pomeranians. I am a high maintenance boy and my fur is NOT to be shaved ever! You will ruin my fur, and I will look awful for the rest of my life. Coat care normally requires brushing twice a week, though more often when the dog is shedding. The coat is thick, with an especially dense undercoat that can shed profusely. Pomeranians, especially those with extremely soft coats, can suffer from a painless disorder called alopecia X, or black skin disease. It first appears as areas of hair loss, and the exposed skin may eventually turn black. Affected dogs should wear shirts or sunscreen to prevent sunburn. In addition, some Poms that have had their coat clipped may not regrow it, as the normal signals to shed and regrow hair are lost with clipping. https://www.britannica.com/animal/Pomeranian-breed-of-dog
