Story
Kentaro is a senior boy at 12 years old. But don`t let his age fool you! This boy loves going for long walks. Not only does he still have a lot of pep in his step, he is also very sweet and affectionate. You can often find him hanging out in a yard with his other senior friends. To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!

Story
Trinity, the adorable 8 pound rat terrier is a survivor! She has survived being hit by a car and sustaining many fractures and a badly broken leg/ hip before ending up at the shelter and has needed some time and vet care to heal before we could spay her. She will need a special home as she is a little bit wobbly but she gets around incredibly well and our vet is very happy with how she's doing and finally cleared her for her spay which went well! Trinity is now officially ready to find a family of her own. Trinity likes other dogs and while she tries a little bit too much to play with the cats and mouth them even at times, she has been adjusting to them. We recommend she go to a home with older, gentle children 12 and up being that she has had such injuries we don't want to risk her getting hurt or snapping if they're too rough with her. Sometimes she will guard her little stuffed animal toys. They are her favorite thing in the world. She is actually quite obsessed with carrying them around everywhere.. it's adorable. Her injuries included a broken leg on one side and a torn ligament on the other as well as pelvic fractures and road rash on her head. She needed quite a while and a lot of crate rest and meds while she was healing but she is thriving, super playful, snuggly and happy as can be. We do notice that her depth perception seems to be a little bit off, but other than that and being a little bit wobbly, she doesn't seem to have any other issues. we aren't sure how old she is. The Shelter estimated she was 2yrs old, but our vet thinks more like 4 to 6 years old is likely. This little girl is hilarious. She has a big personality that will crack you up all the time and she will make a great companion. She is crate trained and doing well on potty training although she does need to go out often or she will have an accident. Trinity is being fostered in the East Bay area. We would really appreciate if everybody would share her and help us find her a wonderful home. If you think you may be the right fit for her, please do send us an application and tell us all about you we would love to find her a forever family of her very own! Our application is on our website www.K9ppr.orgApril 24, 2024, 2:04 pm

Story
Tucker is a gorgeous, friendly, energetic, affectionate, thirteen (13) week old Rat Terrier puppy. He is not neutered. Really, loves playing with his toys and playing fetch. Enjoys curling up and cuddling next to you or on your lap. He would be happiest in a large backyard with room to roam and play. and is learning to walk on a leash. Recently, acquired Tucker from someone who could not care for him any longer due to health issues. Unfortunately, I’m not ready to provide a forever home to another pet, having lost my 12-year old Rat Terrier to illness this month. As a result, I’m not able to provide him my all, and it is not fair to him. Tucker, needs his final puppy shots at sixteen (16) weeks. Puppy comes with crate, blankets, leash, toys, pee-pads, puppy food, etc. Questions, movies4watching@gmail.com

Story
Reginald was found running with some friend’s dogs, we took him in, and found out he had been passed around the community. He is very sweet but living on a huge ranch he is not a ranch dog. Reginald is sweet, and just wants to be loved and cuddled. He loves to curl up and burrow under the covers with you. He can be a bit anxious and whiny at first until he settles in, but he is fun and gets along with other dogs of all sizes, cats and kids. He’s still young and could use some more one on one consistent training. He’s been neutered and received all shots (even those required to board) on 4/11. He is also kennel trained inside when you’re not home and he does great- we will give you his kennel and dog bed.

He is 18 months old and weighs 8 lbs. he walks well on a scooter and can get around well without one in the home. He can come downstairs - cant go up. He is great w/ kids and small dogs. Not fond or larger dogs. Eats well. Sleeps well in a little bed. He just loves being loved and is very low maintenance overall. Does not need a lot of exercise and is happy as long as someone is around.
