Story
She’s a Heartbreaker, Dream Maker … Meet Pat Benatar! Pat Benatar is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Donation” section.) Pat Benatar is a young female puppy from our Rock N Roll litter. Her floppy ears and sweet face charm everyone around her. We guess that she will be a smaller dog reaching somewhere between 25-40 pounds; she’s currently about 4 pounds. Having journeyed from Texas with her siblings, Pat Benatar is All Fired Up to find her forever home in the PNW. If this Pat Benatar had a signature song, it would be either We Belong or Never Wanna Leave You. This pup loves being with people; she is playful, affectionate, and loves to give kisses. Like any performer, she relishes your attention. Friendly and curious, she makes friends with kids, other dogs, and cats easily (she is fascinated by cat toys – being a petite girl, they are the perfect size for her to play with).  Pat Benatar doesn’t believe Love Is A Battlefield; rather, her mantra would be We Live for Love! Pat Benatar is gaining new experiences and skills every day. She has started potty training and can be left in her crate when you leave the room (though she would much rather follow you to see what you are doing). Pat will start leash and obedience training when she is a little older.  Pat is getting lots of playtime, love, and socialization experiences with her foster family. Her ideal home? Pat Benatar is looking for someone to Treat Me Right – that includes showering her with love and attention and ensuring she learns the skills that will make her a well-rounded and happy dog.  Can you make her dreams come true in the end? Want to meet Pat Benatar? Fill out an inquiry form or visit our website for more information! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. We are primarily a volunteer organization that focuses on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process. Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs one year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines (when age appropriate) and heartworm and deworming. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250.  Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2019817##
