You Oughta Know – she’s adorable!
Meet Alanis! Alanis is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Donation” section.)
Alanis Morissette is a young female puppy from our Rock N Roll litter. We guess that she will be a smaller dog reaching somewhere between 20-30 pounds; she’s currently about 4 pounds. With her mottled coat and striking blue eyes, Alanis is mesmerizing! And those ears – adorable! Alanis and her siblings are already seasoned travelers having journeyed cross country from Texas to start new adventures and find forever homes in the PNW.
Outgoing, playful, and sweet, Alanis has a performer’s heart and joys in making people happy. A typical puppy, she loves to run and jump, often landing Head Over Feet. Good with dogs, cats, and kids, Alanis loves to play with her sister and the resident dog. After a bout of playing, Alanis loves to collapse in your lap for snuggles. All I Really Want, according to our Alanis, is to Feel Your Love. What does she like? Everything!
You Learn, as her namesake sang, and Alanis is gaining new experiences and skills every day. She has started potty, crate, and obedience training and has begun walking on a leash. Alanis spends her days cuddling and getting lots of playtime, love, and new adventures with her siblings and foster family. She is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her perfect home. Curious and smart, this fun-loving girl will be the perfect buddy, Joining You in whatever adventure the day brings.
Alanis Morissette’s ideal home? Your House! As a puppy, she loves everything, dislikes nothing, and wants nothing more than to play and be with you. If you are looking for a pup to be the Heart of the House, Alanis is the girl for you!

At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission. Our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED.
Minimum Adoption donation is $550 for dogs under a year and $450 for dogs one year and older. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers puppies throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon.
Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process.
We will choose the most suitable home for each dog, not the first application received.
If the dog you are applying for is adopted, we have hella good matchmakers that will help you find your perfect new four-legged family member.
Since the dogs that come up the Path of Hope are rescues, not much is known about them. Therefore, breed and adult sizes are our best guesses, and we cannot guarantee this information is accurate.
