Harry and Eleanor?? Such SERIOUS names for a couple of goofy pups! We came from a somewhat sad and seriously MESSED up place but now we may be a little shy but we are definitely NOT SERIOUS :) We are JRT/Rat Terrier mixed siblings, each of us is cute and loving in our own right. Under 15# of absolute adorableness is who we are. We are both still a little nervous, I mean we came from a pretty horrific situation so know that we were not handled and loved on until the last month or so in our foster home... but we are learning so much and having a blast! We are great together but do not have to be adopted together. We will need at least another dog with us to show us the ropes and keep us company in our new family. We are good with everyone so that will be pretty easy :) Look one of us up and ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! SO MANY LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

PEPITA is big fun in an adorable little package. She's mixed breed girl, around 1 year old and fully grown at just 27 pounds. Pepita lives to play.  She loves her toys and treats and high speed zoomies. Pepita is a Heinz 57 Varieties-type mixed breed girl. She appears to be part rat terrier, maybe some border collie, and heaven knows what else. Pepita is an energetic young dog who will need a home with room to run and play and is best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard. She's dog friendly and loves people. If you'd like to meet Pepita, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Pepita at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at Petsmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. Sally is a tiny little sweetheart that loves to nap and cuddle. She wants non-stop love. She's all ears and just adorable! She came to the rescue with a bad leg that prevents her from running and jumping, but it does not slow her down. it was an old injury that healed prior to her coming to the rescue. She is not recommended for a home with young children. She knows how to use a ramp, but also enjoys being carried.
