Story
Silly Goose is a typical Texas country boy. He is sweet, gentle, loves the water, being outside, and loves being around the people he cares about most. Goose has this thing special thing about him where you’re not quite sure what it is but it instantly draws you to him and makes you feel calm and warm. It does take him a bit to want Up to new people but once he does he’s all Yours! Maybe it’s his sweet eyes that look at you with so much love in them, his cute floppy ears when they perk up or his radiating smile. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/dh3rTPFy77g?si=VlOeTrbJDxdCcYT6 Goose is a Black Mouth Cur mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 48 lbs and is fully grown! He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery. He is very dog friendly and did amazing meeting all of the dogs we introduced him too. He higher energy energy and will play for short burst with the other dogs but also knows when to take breaks. He is also very tolerant and is more of a submissive fella. He does have a higher prey drive, so no small scruffy dogs or kitty friends for Jason please. When he’s not playing with his doggy friends, you’ll typically find him in sitting in the back watching the other dogs play in the yard, out exploring and taking in the fresh air, chilling in the pool/pond, or loving on his humans. He has a really nice calming demeanor about him and a great balanced energy that could match a variety of different households. He would do great in home with a backyard where he can sunbathe and roll around in the grass. I do see Goose living his best life out in the country exploring with his people, swimming in the pond, catching butterflies with the kids, and sitting with you on the back porch watching the sunset. To our knowledge he is crate and potty trained but may need a reminder once he arrives to his new home. Goose will need someone willing to help him polish his leash skills and teach him basic manners. He is very treat motivated which will make training a breeze. He is not jumpy or mouthy and is very tolerant of physical touch. We believe he would make a great family dog with kids. We are willing to test Goose with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Meet Estrella, a petite nugget of love! Estrella wiggles with excitement to her people and pulls you in with her all white toothy grin staff are so fond of! Check out Estrella and all her love here! https://youtu.be/5XFUx1TVMF4?feature=shared Estrella is around a year old and 35lbs. With her expressive ears and perfectly smush of a face we think she could be a chihuahua and pit bull mix. With rescue, nothing is ever for certain or guaranteed on where our dogs come from or their breeds. But man when she looks up at you and her little front teeth show, all I can think of her as is “a pawfect angel”. Watch Estrella’s adoption video here! Estrella has been around our resident cat Tom and did amazing! When she went up to sniff, he did his typical signal for get away pup, and smacked her. Poor thing went straight to her handler for reassurance! She’s a gentle soul. She was around Tom many times after and never sought to retaliate. She is very cat tolerant and wouldn’t mind kitty friends at home! Though she did great in this interaction, we do not know if she has ever lived with cats nor can we guarantee that things won’t change in the home. We do believe that with slow and proper introductions she can coexist with them! Speaking of friends, Estrella LOVES her hoomans! Some may say even a bit more than anything else. That’s okay though we will take the attention! Estrella met a few of our helper dogs and did well opening up after time to get used to them. She is a naturally curious girl and will go up to check out other dogs if they are facing away (privacy, how considerate of her!). After some time together she started to initiate and return play on her own with her new friends. She got the biggest bounces and zoomies out, she’s like lightning! This bouncy ball of a girl would do well in a home with other dogs who will allow her to melt into herself after a calm meet up. Estella has shown us her love language is definitely physical touch! If you walk by and don’t say hi she will give you some serious booty wiggles and turn those hazel eyes in your direction like “uh dude you know I’m your favorite” until you give her the ultimate snuggles. Get this girl on a couch and you’ve achieved an ultimate binge a thon partner just have those belly scratches ready! Men are starting to grow on little miss thing with the multiple interactions she’s had at the rescue. With more exposure and positive interactions she will get more comfortable. She doesn’t try to attack, just can be guarded but will let you hold her leash and be close! She is so sweet and once you have that trust built she is all yours. Estrella is crate and potty trained to the best of our knowledge. She has stayed at a trusted volunteers home several nights and has came back with nothing but praise! Like with most dogs in a new place she may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once in a home. We are willing to test Estrella with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

Story
This cutie is Daisy. She is currently 14 pounds, 13 weeks old, and we think they may be a Black Mouth Cur mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves her life as well as the life of another in its place. She's like the ultimate "Big Sister" to her little sister Petunia and foster sister Eenie. She's one of the sweetest and silliest pups ever. She loves to play and is always up for a good time. But be careful when you put her food dish down, she's a gobbler and will eat all her food and then look for more! But don't worry, she's satisfied with a small treat. They are on a strict schedule at their foster home, breakfast by 8, followed by playtime outside, lunch between 12-1, then nap time for a couple hours then back outside. Dinner is usually around 6:30, more playtime and bedtime no later than 8:30 She is a huge fan of a hard rubber ball, unstuffed toys and tug toys. Her favorite toy is one her sisters has. That cute little wrinkled face will melt your heart. Daisy is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/660d8e3dfaed1ac4d8056429 Please email evanh@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation.
