Story
Meet handsome Jojo! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/3, and no one has come to reclaim him. We're surprised no one is missing this sweet boy. The volunteers have discovered that he is quite smart and knows the following commands: sit, stay, shake, and lay down. Someone took the time to teach Jojo manners, so we know he was cared for and loved at one time. If you're looking for a well-behaved, fun loving boy, please come meet Jojo! Jojo is approximately 2 years old, and he weighs 60 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, neutered, and tested negative for heartworms; he will be microchipped upon adoption. Jojo is waiting in run 881; his ID # is 653442. Jojo is smart and fun-loving, see video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-gm9TMzGE6Q Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an apt., go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. Or you can just stop by during business hours. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an apt., it does not reserve a particular pet for you.

Story
Meet handsome Ollie! He ended up at the shelter as a lost boy on 3/13, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Ollie as friendly and polite. He sits nicely when asked, and he's been quiet in his kennel since his arrival. Isn't he such a good-looking boy too?! Unfortunately, Ollie has an injured leg that must be seen by a vet. We're not sure what may have happened or what the diagnosis will be, but we know Ollie will be happy to have some relief once it's been addressed. Ollie is approximately 4 years old, and he weighs 71 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet sweet Ollie in run 111; his ID # is 654226. Story
Tag is the sweetest boy, and it guts me to even post this. He is my parents dog, and my dad was the primary caregiver for him. My dad unexpectedly passed away in September 2023. My mom is unable to care for him for health reasons and I’m unfortunately unable to take him. He is so sweet and very playful. He gets along great with other dogs and people. He loves to play with other dogs at the dog park and would spend all day there if he could. He just needs someone better than me :( Tag is a sensitive little guy. He wants to be with you all the time and has separation anxiety. He has a jaw condition that he has to take a steroid shot for once a month. He’s so sweet and innocent and just wants love.

Story
Hi I’m Boogie and my butt wiggles just as you say my name! I’m currently with my wonderful foster family decompressing from almost a year in the shelter with my foster brother who is a German Shepard that loves to run! I love to run and play ball too!! A little bit about me: I LOVE chewing on toys and bones and can keep myself entertained for hours with a good chew toy.. I’ve never been one for chewing something not given to me. I’m crazy about playing fetch, try me! Ive been in the shelter in a cage for a long time so I'm learning potty training but I'm catching on super fast! You can’t give me enough lovings because I have no bubble!! Despite my past, I am the happiest pup and will be happy with anyone who will give me a loving home. I LOVE people and will lean into you for loves and I just discovered I love watching TV with my foster mommy. Come meet me! Boogie had several dog meets and loves other dogs but we suggest doing a meet with your dog if you already have one to make sure they are a good match!
