Story
Buddy is a 11 month old purebred Rottweiler. He is the best! He’s curious, cleaver and cute! We are moving and won’t have enough space for him to live his best life. We’re hoping to find someone that will give him love and attention, the space he needs to grow. He has met a few dogs in our neighborhood and does good. He has not met any cats that I know of. He was a little spooked by our neighbor’s ducks they were raising. They flapped their wings when he got about 4 feet from them and he jumped back and ran back to the house really fast. He also helped catch some mice out in the neighbor’s shed, he got pretty good at sniffing them out. He’s got a good amount of energy, but that’s to be expected as he is still a pup. We hate to see him go but are hopeful we’ll find his forever person that can give him the life we can not.

Story
Finn is a healthy 8 year old Rottweiler. We have had him since he was a puppy. He is calm and enjoys playing outside with balls, watching tv with the family and cuddling. He tends to forget how big he is and tries to fit on laps. Finn lives with another dog and they play well together. Over the last 6 months, he has started being more territorial and has gotten aggressive around food. We have young children in the house and do not want them to inadvertently interrupt Finn when he is eating.

Story
Hi, I'm Laura. I'm from Texas. From the foster: I am a sweet lady who loves going on walks! My foster mom is still getting to know me but she says I'm amazing with all humans especially the 11 year old in the house, I ignore the cats, and I love belly rubs! I like to nose dive to the ground and plop onto my back for itchies! Iove toys and can entertain myself throwing them around or playing tug with a human is fun too! I'm still figuring out ques from other dogs but with slow intros could do okay with another dog, i get along with the bulldog at foster moms house but am too exuberant for the other dogs...i seem like i just really want to play. I love chewing bones, am crate trained, and I have had ZERO accidents with foster mom. I'm a really good girl and can't wait to find my forever home! From her foster: Slow intros with other dogs are 100 percent necessary. Better with smaller dogs. From the Vet: "Hi! My name is Laura, I came into rescue in February of this year and I have had a few issues that took a while to resolve. My main issue was a problem with persistent vomiting. I was given supportive care to treat this while it was happening, but the vets did lots of testing to rule out certain illnesses like Addisons Disease. I started on a Hypoallergenic diet and steroid medication and I am now showing lots of improvement. I have also tapered off of the steroid, but we think it will be best for me to continue on this food life-long or discuss future diet changes with a primary care veterinarian. An allergy shot has also helped with some skin issues as well. I came with an ear infection that has since cleared up and I will need a dental surgery that can be scheduled with The Bond Between Vet Center after my adoption (or this will be scheduled in April if I have not been adopted yet) and this procedure will be covered by TBB." I'm so excited to meet you soon so I can settle into my furever home!"

I am Wagger. I am from Minnesota. Wagger is a cuddle bunny. 2yr old Rottweiler mix who thinks he is a lap dog. He will play with toys but honestly would rather just sit next to you and receive all of the love and affection you are willing to give. he has been doing good on his walks and has become a volunteer and staff favorite with his goofy personality and constantly wagging tail.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Kobe is an exceptional dog. He is so good-natured, friendly, sweet, low key in one way, yet loves to go for a walk, or a trip to the dog park. Kobe is a steady eddy in terms of temperament, and he is responsive to direction and commands. He is crate-trained, although he doesn't need a crate, and potty-trained. Kobe is said to be around eight years old and about 100 lbs. Kobe looks like he could be menacing, but is just so friendly, we haven't seen any human aggression from him at all. Kobe came from a neglect/cruelty case, where believe it or not - the dogs were starving. Some kind advocates in KY got him out of that situation and plumped him up! He sure does love to eat! We are putting him on a reduced food intake and exercise to help him lose some weight, although he will always be a Big Boy, he does need to lose some weight for his overall health. Kobe does have Cushing's disease, so he will need to be on medication for that for the rest of his life. Kobe should not go to a home with cats but has shown very well with other dogs. Kobe would do best in a home with an active person who can give him the walks, dog park, and fun he had missed out on for years. He can live with other dogs, but no cats for Kobe. A fenced-in yard would be in his best interest, as he loves to be outside, truly loves to sit outside, even for hours, or go in and out quite a bit. If you live in the country and have some land and some if it is fenced, he would love that to the moon and back (but not mandatory). Let us know if you are interested in meeting this special boy. He has a special future, we can tell!  Interested in fostering or adopting?
