Story
Puppy was abandoned in August 2023, about 1month old, and in good health. Currently in very good health and has had all shots to date. Because of my personal situation I am unable to care for her any longer. This is a special puppy and deserves a good home with children and a good yard. She is good with children and cats and loves to run and play.

Story
Needing to rehome my German rottie, my work schedule changed and I’m starting to have to work a lot more doubles at my clinic and I’ll be gone for long hours every day, it’s not fair to him to be kenneled for so long. He is a year old and a sweet good boy, he is a rottie and therefore protective, would perfer him to go to someone who has experience with his breed. he is 86lbs but his vet expects him to easily sit at 90-100 without being overweight as he still needs to fill out and won’t be done doing so till about 2years. I will require his adopters to have a fenced yard. He is good with other dogs unless you show that dog makes you uncomfortable then he gets protective, he will actually do that with anyone, if you are welcoming so is he but if he feels like your unhappy or afraid or uncomfortable with someone or something he likes to lean on you and watch whatever it is very intensely and if approached he will growl or bark. He knows a lot of comands and is a quick learner.

Marlie

Doberman Pinscher

Female, 4 yrs 10 mos
Fort Worth, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Marlie is 4 yrs old, super sweet, eager to please, great with people. She is crate trained, rides well in the car, walks well on a leash & is potty trained. Marlie is on the high energy side, needs regular exercise & mental stimulation. Although she is beautiful, she is the product of very poor breeding & has had two knee surgeries so exercise doesn’t need to be intense but should be facilitated multiple times a day, such as running in the yard or playing with another dog or swimming. She will do best in a home with consistent routines & a fenced yard where she can run. She is good with male dogs but no cats. Marlie struggles with anxious energy & reactivity to unknown dogs when they are near so training and regular “calm time” help. She is a typical loyal velcro Doberman who craves being near her owner & will be a great go-everywhere dog with continued training & consistency.

House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Loki is a sweet, happy, smart 17 mo old boy who loves spending time with his humans. A true Doberman, he can be very demanding & stubborn, but with daily exercise and the right continued training & encouragement he will be a wonderful companion. With continued help on his socialization he will be able to overcome his excitement when encountering other dogs/people. He is still immature & does not realize his size & acts like a big puppy. He needs an experienced owner with large and/or working breeds who understands the need for consistent training. He can be a great hiking companion, running partner & just all-around best friend to the right family or individual. He just needs the opportunity to show his goofy & loveable nature & you will be hooked. He rides in the car well, is crate trained and knows basic commands. He needs time to mature & that is going to make all the difference for this guy. He has incredible potential but only in the right hands. He is specifically available to homes where someone is home at least part-time, as an only dog, OR to a home with female dogs of similar size & to homes with children over 8 years old. He has previously lived with children (7-14 yr old & done well.) His original family had some life changes & could no longer make the necessary commitments to keep Loki.

Story
This little cutie patootie is Claire, a 3 month old Boxer mix puppy that is looking for a family to treat her like the princess she is! Claire and her siblings were found as strays, unfortunately, so we don't know what their previous home lives were like; but we do know how sweet, loving, and playful they are! Claire, while a princess, loves to rough house with the other puppies, and chew on her toys! Claire loves a good snuggle and cuddle, but she also loves running around as fast as she can and attempting to parkour off just about anything! Because she is so young, Claire would do great in any type of home environment! We do recommend doing a meet and greet if there are other dogs in the home, just to make sure they can handle Claire's rambunctious energy! Claire will need dedicated adopters that are willing to completely puppy train her, but that shouldn't be too hard if you have some yummy treats! Claire has started her puppy vaccines, and has been spayed and microchipped so she's ready to be your new bestie today! Come meet this gorgeous girl at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook, open every day from 12-6 pm! Please give us a call at 817-249-3647 if you have any questions!
