Story
Yagi is a small, male Samoyed mix about 1 to 2 years old. He was found abandoned in the streets and saved by a good samaritan who described him as being “very sweet”, skittish at first but warms up quickly once he realizes he’s safe, likes men, trusts women a little, cooperative, knows basic commands like “sit” and “paw”, OK with most dogs if they have relaxed energy. She didn’t notice troublesome behavior except he just doesn’t like being crated or alone. He wants to know that someone is home. Yagi passed his wellness check with flying colors and is scheduled to be neutered on 4/8/24. He is located in Orange County and can be seen by appointment. If you think Yagi would make a great fit for your family, please submit an online application to SRSC (https://www.socalsamoyedrescue.org/adopt). If you already have submitted an application to us in the past year, send us an email to let us know you’re interested in Yagi.

Story
Arctic ended up in a shelter with another dog (a male). They were covered in fleas/ticks and she was terrified. She’s still skittish so will need a patient, loving, experienced adopter. Another Rescue picked up her friend, and SRSC rescued this beautiful girl. She’s been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. She will need time to acclimate and learn to trust. Once she’s used to you, she is very loving. Best with no cats or small animals in home. If you live in So CA and think Arctic would make a great fit for your family, please submit an online application to SRSC. If you already filed an application within the past year, send us an email and let us know you’re interested. She is in Orange County and can be seen by appointment most days between 10am-2pm. We are asking for a minimum donation of $350 for Arctic.

Story
We got Dany, also known Daenerys, about 4 years. She was and is a bundle of joy, didn’t need any kind of training and was just a wonderful-loving dog. She’s a bit of a singer and loves to howl when excited but doesn’t bite, doesn’t jump on strangers unnecessarily, and is perfectly potty trained. As much as I would love to keep her I am going away for college really soon and my mom is getting older and I don’t think she’s fit enough to care for a dog. I really want Dany to live inside but have access to a fairly big backyard because she does keep herself entertained. I will say though.. do not leave your favorite shoes or socks around because she does have a habit of destroying any shoes or socks in her presence. Dany is also just my biggest motivator. Those times I’d be having late night studying she would be right by me, anytime I was upset and crying she would never leave me alone, and although I’ll be really upset when she leaves I really want her to be with a family that loves her.

STRAY HOLD UNTIL 04/17/2024 A photo with a stray hold banner is public and posted in a desire to reunite a pet with its rightful owner. Our stray hold is lifted after 14 days. The animals are not available to be met or considered for adoption until the whole stray hold time is honored. An "off stray hold" date will be posted for all animals on a stray hold and at that time can be considered for adoption. We appreciate your patience and understanding on our procedures and protocols. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org when you come to an event please bring that filled out in hand with you. You can find our application at Lovejoyfoundation.org. Story
Meet Tangi🧡 Tangi kept wagging his tail and staring at people even he finds people far from him. Tangi seems to say "I'm here". When people get closer to him, he acts happily. He was rescued from Korean city shelter right before euthanasia. [Health Condition] * Neutering: Done * Heartworm treatment was completed [Rescue Story] * Tangi was moved to the Gimje Shelter, where he spent a rather long time tied in a confined space. He is an adorable dog who smiled brightly and waged his tail wildly at Adogs staff who visited the shelter. Currently, he is running around and playing with other friends at the Adogs Center. [Basic Information] * Interaction with People : No fear of people at all! He wags his tail, and asked to be petted even by people he meets for the first time. * Interaction with Dogs: Gets along well with other dos at the center. Seems not to be the type of approaching and playing first. * Separation Anxiety: Still unknown as he's currently with other dogs at the Adogs center. * Potty Training: Only outdoor potty at the Adogs center.

Story
Meet BISCUIT! She is a sweet and joyful- Samoyed girl who loves people. She was found with a broken bone which was an indicaton of physical abuse, but thankfully she was rescued by our rescue team. Yet-She still loves people and loves to play with other dogs! Behaviours from the foster mom : She is very gentle, cheerful and very affectionate. She loves people- and also she absolutely loves playing with other doggie freinds. She is good with kids, as well- She might get a bit jealousy though, because she loves people so much. If you have a cat at home- Biscuit will show interest in a cat, but she won't be aggresive, She is just curious :) She isn't a big barker, but she may bark a couple of times when she eats her food and she gets excited :D She loves walking with her hooman. She has walk in her wheelchair, but she loves running and smelling all the new exciting smell. She is pad-trained well. She never damanged the house- and she doesn't have any aggresive behavior issue. Biscuit may have a disability in her leg, but she brings all the joy and happiness to us with her positive and lovely spirit! and She absolutely loves her hoomans even though she was abused by some people in the past. She is such a lovely and an inspiring girl who shows what real love is :D Biscuit is absolutely ready to be your loving family :) Allergy/health issues: Biscuit's right hind leg bone was broken and necrosis on her paw pad and toes were severe. The vet tried their best to stop it, but we couldn't stop it getting worse. But, The vet was able to save her leg and the top of her foot. This is why she has disability in her right hind leg. However, her bones in her legs and joints has no issues at all. Other than a bit of disability in her right-hind leg, she is absolultely healthy- She can even run around with out wheelchair. She is just a happy, sweet and a gentle girl with full of joy!

Kelsey gets eye drops for inflammation twice a day and she is very cooperative. She is also deaf. Despite her disabilities, Kelsey navigates the house and the yard quite well . She can use a ramp and can step up or down from the patio to the yard.
