Story
This is a Lady Anne pup, and they are all listed as Royalty in the Standard Poodle breed. The family includes Elizabeth, Diana, Harry, Charles, and William. These puppies were born in our care and have had 3 sets of puppy shots with us, dewormed, microchipped, will be fixed, and all up to date! They can go home on 4/29! All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heart-worm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Due to the construction of our state of the art facility, none of our pets are on site, they are all located in foster homes at this time. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile. After we review your completed survey we will contact you by phone or email within 72 hours or less. We're primarily a volunteer organization, so we appreciate your patience. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and will not be processing any applications on those days. Do get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey: A PCH adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH cannot guarantee any pets availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents via a meeting app). We do require that adopters discuss all questions before pickup via phone or email in order to minimize direct contact with our staff/volunteers at the time of adoption. After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system* *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Drive-in adoption! Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the Nu-Way semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Adopters should pull up to the curb in front of the facility. Adopters should stay in their vehicle. Please be prepared with items such as a crate, leash, blankets, paper towels, cleanup spray, garbage bags, etc. Call 309-846-9534 when you arrive. A PCH representative wearing a mask will carry or walk the pet out and place in the client's vehicle. Social distancing practices should be respected during this process. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with family and new pet through the window of the vehicle. Thank you to all for saving the life of a shelter pet! Story
Visit leiashope.org for adoption process. What can be said about the cutest and smartest little guy? Padre is such a good boy with a wild side! He loves to play and drag foster mom's slippers around the house. He is great for baths and grooms, which are great qualities as he will need lots of those in his future! Padre is a good little snuggler and enjoys his one on one time with foster mom. He has started some skills on training and learning the clicker, but he still has a ways to go. Padre likes to come off as a confident and tough guy but he gets scared when the bigger dogs run past him and will cry like they hurt him. They haven't, he is fine, just a little scared. Since Padre was born in a puppy mill he missed the critical socialization window where he would have been exposed to new things and gain confidence, so his new family will need to work on positive experiences with him. Padre is looking for a playmate in his new home (kids or playful dog) as he has a lot of puppy energy. Another dog that is confident and playful will be a good role model for him and kids are just fun and great to wear a puppy out so mom and dad can get the benefits of sleepy cuddles! Padre's adoption is $500. He is too young to receive a neuter, as we wait until they are 6 months. We will cover the cost of the neuter if using our Decatur vet. He is microchipped, current on vaccines, dewormed, and on monthly heart worm prevention. PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing. All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application. We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet. Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!

Story
Visit leiashope.org Isadore (Dorey) is a spunky little girl nicknamed fireball because she is a blur of red when she is running around the house! Isadore is an active lady but when she is tired she will put herself to rest somewhere quiet or in a dog bed. She can be a little unsure about being picked up and will run from you at first. Once you catch her, she is butter in your arms! Isadore loves to play and we will be looking for a playmate for her in her new home. She enjoys running around in the yard, wrestling with the other foster pups and looking for mischief! Isadore has an umbilical hernia that will need repaired at time of spay. We will cover that expense if using our Decatur vet. Isadore's adoption is $500. She has not been spayed due to her young age, as we wait until 6 months. A spay contract is required and we will cover the expense if using our Decatur vet. She is microchipped, current on vaccines, and on flea/heart worm prevention. PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing. Story
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process. Requirements: Secure PHYSICAL fenced yard Thea is a former breeder dog that is so grateful to be in rescue and a home! She has been soaking up the love and attention since joining Leia's Hope! She is a sweet gal that loves to snuggle next to you in bed at night and in the recliner when watching TV. Thea gets super excited for treats and probably never knew of such a pleasure before rescue. She is an easy going gal and gets along great with other dogs, but we believe she would be ok being the only pet. Thea is beginning to play with toys and this is always so fun to watch a former mill dog do normal dog things! Thea is not leash trained and will need a secure physical fenced yard. Thea's adoption is $375. She is spayed, received a dental, current on vaccines, microchipped and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps! PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
