Story
Meet Ivy Introducing Ivy! Ivy is a beautiful Schnauzer / Terrier / Poodle blend that is approximately 1-1/2 years old and currently weighs 14 pounds. We rescued this sweet girl from the Weslaco shelter in south Texas near the border of Mexico. It was clear that Ivy was not well cared for up until this point. She came to us very matted and really needing a “spa day” to wash away her previous life so she could truly shine like the little superstar she is! Ivy is a very sweet, gentle and loving dog. Even though people have disappointed her up until this point, she is happy to get love and attention. A warm lap is her favorite place to be and she is eager to accept love and attention. She is treat-motivated and is learning that toys are pretty cool, too. Ivy wants nothing more than to be part of a family that will give her the love and affection she deserves. She would do well in a home where her person can spend lots of time with her, to get her settled in and will show her how amazing it is to be part of a family. We just love this little lady and can’t wait for her to find her loving, forever home! Ivy is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Columbus, OH on April 13th. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost. **Medical testing is currently pending for Ivy** If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance*
