Meet Wrinkles, he's a very unique looking 7 month old Shar Pei mix. He's currently 38 pounds but will most likely be medium to large when full grown. Wrinkles is a typical puppy, playful and friendly. He does get excited when meeting people so although he's friendly he is strong so older children will be best for him. He also gets ramped up meeting new dogs. He plays hard with them but can also be submissive. He loves toys so being the only canine in the home would be ok with him so he gets to keep all the bounty. Wrinkles is doing very well on housetraining, won't say 100% yet but with regular potty breaks he's doing good. Did I mention how cute he is?? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.My name is Chula.  I have been at the rescue for some time. I'm not sure why because I am super friendly, love visitors, and have a few dog friends that I enjoy playing with. Running in a big yard would be my dream come true. If you are interested in meeting me, the first step in our adoption process is to go to the website www.adoggie4you.org and complete an application for me. I can't wait to meet you!  I was born around 05/2015, I weigh 55 pounds and my adoption fee is $250.  I have a thyroid issue, so I have to take my thyroid medicine twice a day.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. So you know about my "kissable" mug, right?? Shar peis have the big "fluffy" cheeks and soft sweet nose, not to mention the eyes that stare into your SOUL!! Yes, that is ME!!! Now I am a Shar Pei mixed girl, but it's as obvious when you meet me, as the nose on YOUR face :) I am Annabelle and I was dumped with my 9 puppies when they were teeny and I was starving :( LUCKILY, we were dumped by one of our AMAZING public servants (Fire Chief) and his wife, they knew they couldn't just leave us to die... SO THEY SAVED US!!! And let me tell you, we are A LOT of love, kissing and WRINKLES! My pups are all being adopted and I am ready for MY furever home too!! I am so sweet and gentle, I love to play with my doggy friends and puppies but no kitties need apply!! Not a fan of the claws, lol. I am such a good girl that you won't miss not having a kitty anyway :) I am ready for a medium energy home, I love to lay around plenty but can get a little excitement for other things like hiking or neighborhood walking. Meet Chucho, a 2-year-old pocket pittie (plus mystery breed?) with an extra-curly tail, a mastery of lounging on the sofa, and a shameless quest for snacks and snuggles. He's eager to please and once he feels safe and familiar with someone he'll be your dedicated sidekick. He loves rewards (of the food or praise variety), making it a breeze to teach him commands and your expectations. He likes to be mentally engaged as much as he likes to be physically engaged, but also enjoys hanging out in the sun, in front of the tv, or looking out a window. He thrives with a slightly older, well-balanced dog sibling in his house, respects cats, and excels at the role of little brother. He plays well with dog friends of all sizes and ages at daycare. Chucho is a quick learner but he's also a determined student. This helps him build strong bonds with the people in his life. He gets a little nervous in loud environments or unfamiliar settings but finds comfort in his human and animal friends. He has some leash/barrier reactivity, but his foster family has noticed huge improvements in his self-control and emotional regulation through patient guidance and consistency. He's a very empathetic dog with a huge heart and he picks up on the vibes of the people and animals in his home. Positive reinforcement and structure are the name of the game for Chucho! His perfect forever home would be one with at least one active human who likes to spend quality time working/playing with Chucho, and ideally another dog sibling for company and partner-in-crime-time. Socializing is important for Chucho, so a forever home that's willing to put him in daycare once or twice a week or have regular playtime with trusted, familiar dogs will make him a super happy boy. He's also VERY good-looking, so his future family must be comfortable getting constant compliments about how handsome he is and be prepared to spend hours adoring his adorable, jowly face.
