Name: Kaboodle Breeds: Mini Sheepadoodle Mix (Sheepdog/ Poodle) Age: Puppy Sex: Female Size: Medium Kaboodle is a 5 month old puppy found abandoned in a local park. We sure expected this cutie to be reclaimed but no one came for her. Kaboodle is some type of doodle—we are guessing a mini sheepadoodle based on her coloring, coat type, and age/size. She is an absolutely wonderful puppy! Kaboodle is friendly, adores other dogs, fine with cats (though will try to play), and loves people of all ages. She is a mix of 2 energetic breeds so please expect energy and lots of walks/playtime. She would love a fenced yard and someone who wants a dog to do things wth! She is a typical puppy and learning all the important puppy skills like housetraining, manners, and basic training. She picked up “sit” in a flash! However, she is still a baby so her forever home should be prepared for continuing her training. Kaboodle is expected to be a medium sized dog as an adult. Doodles have high maintenance coats and her adopters will need to commit to brushing multiple times a week and grooming professionally every 6-8 weeks. Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $850 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives. Story
Maxine is a 4 1/2 year old sheepadoodle. We got her in May of 2020 from her original breeder. She needed to be placed quickly as her breeder was having health issues. She is a very smart, willing to please dog who needs to be in a home with no other dogs, and with someone who can give her the attention she needs to become an excellent companion. It is a very difficult decision to rehome Maxine, but I am doing this for several reasons. First I am traveling a lot and just do not have the time to work with her as I should. Secondly, she and our other dog are increasingly fighting. While our two dogs have never bonded with each other, resource guarding has become worse and worse with Maxine. As I mentioned I am not able to spend the time I should with her to work on this issue. Maxine is a beautiful doodle with so much potential. We are really hoping to find her a forever home in which she can be loved and attended to as she deserves.
