Story
Need a bestie to have a glass of wine with or watch the sunset with? Pepper won’t be drinking no wine, but she’ll gladly sit beside you while life goes by! She may even lean on you and rest her pretty head on your shoulder. If you drape your arm around her, you will make her so happy 😊 Pepper is all about her people. She likes to be held. If you cradle her like a baby and whisper sweet nothings in her ear, you’ll send her to Cloud 9. Affection and attention are Pepper’s thing. Sometimes Pepper is so happy to see you, she leaps right into your arms! Make sure you have those strong arms ready to catch her! She will stay in your arms or lap, content, for as long as you let her. Other Pepper traits – she is extremely intelligent. She picks up on energy (does not like loud noise or people screaming). She is a joy to train. She picks up on what you want of her almost right away. She likes to train off of high value treats, like boiled chicken, not so much into toys. If you are too slow with your rewards, she will reward herself if treats are laying around 😊 We won’t put it past her to counter surf if yummy treats are left out! Pepper likes to play ball and will run around with it. Pepper has a lot of energy (Husky), an active individual who enjoys the outdoors would be wonderful. Hiking, running, Pepper will keep up! Pepper will scale a fence, not to take herself on a neighborhood stroll but to be where you are 😊 Pepper is 1.5 years old 60lb Shepsky. She is looking for a family who will embrace her need for human affection and physical/mental stimulation. The family must be able to create a balance to avoid creating separation anxiety. A home with older children is preferred as Pepper is sensitive to loud noises. Pepper is crate trained. She can be barky if she is crated when the family is home. She just wants to be with her family. Pepper is a super sweet, kind, loving soul.
