Hello handsome! Meet Bernard, an Alaskan Husky mix who weighs about 53lbs. This sweet boy is stunning on the inside and out! Even though he can be a little shy when you first meet him, he warms up with treats and toys. This heartthrob is also a ladies man, and prefers the company of women over men. Young children also tend to make him nervous, a home with 13+ kids will be best. He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs as well, and can be cat tested for an approved adopter! He's considered a medium energy guy who likes squeaky toys, playing fetch, and neck scratches! He walks excellent on a leash and would make a terrific walking buddy! He is also food motivated which can make training easier.You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about Bernard on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet him today!!Adoption fee: $450All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. Story
Jax is a German Shepard and Mountain Cur mix. He was 1 on 12/13/22. He needs his 1-year shots and checkup in April, When he was a puppy, he played with other dogs and people. As he grew older, he became very reactive. He is fine with our family and pets in our house but that is it. He needs to be trained by a specialist. I am on a fixed income and can;t afford it. His mother was 55#, his dad was about 70# and he is in the 90 to 100 bracket. I wasn’t knowledgeable enough when I received him as a gift from my daughters and he is too much for me to handle. He is a big ole baby to me, plays with me and lays on my lap. He follows me everywhere..loves to play catch and chew on his toys. He is crate trained but only used when we leave the house or feeding time. He used to chew on a lot of things that wasn’t ok but he is growing out of it. I have extra collar, leash, retractable leash, toys and a bowl. I still have food to get you started.
