Story
Koopa is a playful 3 yr. old Shiba Inu boy. He weighs 30 pounds and has a beautiful full red coat. As an active boy, he will need a fenced yard to run in, and would benefit from daily walks with his new family. He will also love to come with you on your car trips. Koopa loves all toys and balls, with stuffed animals and squeaky balls his favorite. If you are too busy to play, he will toss the toys in the air himself and run to retrieve them. Koopa is a great snuggler and will sleep at your feet if you let him. He is dominant over small dogs and should be adopted as an only dog. He is great on walks, exploring everything and ignoring other dogs, even if they are barking at him. He is wary of small children and we are looking for an adult-only home for him. He is fully house trained. Koopa is currently fostering in North Carolina. Please visit our main site for more information or to apply to adopt.

Story
Meet Sandy, our shy and timid Labrador retriever mix. Sandy came from a hoarding situation so we aren't really sure what all she had to endure in her past, but it takes time for her to come around. She came to our house one night so that we could start fostering her and it's been a journey since then. For the first week she was scared and wanted to hide all day. Day in and day out we would try to talk to her and work with her on the leash and after that week she has finally gave in and there are no more scared barks at me or hiding under the bed. She greets me with tail wags and nudges - she's just thrilled to see me. She still gets scared when any sudden noises start happening so we feel she would be better in a calm household. Sandy is such a good girl and is house trained. She can walk on a leash with so much more confidence and is ready to find her forever home. If you think you have the time and patience Sandy needs please fill out an application and set up a meet and greet today! https://shorturl.at/syCM3SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption.
