Story
Tatum (8yrs) was gifted as a puppy to our daughter by her boyfriend. Our daughter was unable to take her when she grew a up and moved out, so Tatum stayed behind with my husband, our other two dogs, and me. She has been overnight crate trained since a pup; however, she has developed moderate anxiety and for the last year, she does not do well crated longer than 6 hours at night. During rainy/stormy weather we have not even tried to crate her due to her anxiety. She is such a sweet and loving dog otherwise, but we feel that, with my knee issues limiting my mobility and my husband on the road all the time, we can not provide her with adequate exercise to help balance her anxiety. She needs more activity than we can currently provide. She is a good walking companion, a curious backyard tracker, and a vigorous tail-chaser who loves her scratches and belly rubs.
