Story
Big Red is a 18 month old good-natured and loving Aussie Shiba, a cross between a Miniature Australian Shepherd and a Shiba Inu. Leashless trained and loves to go on car rides, walks and to cuddle. The Australian Shepherd is a herding breed. Shiba Inus once hunted powerful game like wild boar. This breed also gained popularity through the “Doge” meme. The Aussie Shiba’s status as a crossbreed means that they’re unlikely to be found up for adoption. But because of the pandemic causing a dog surplus.

Story
I'm Max, a delightful 4-year-old male Jindo Shiba Inu mix eagerly searching for my forever home. Background: I found myself in a City shelter around November 2020, wandering the streets. Thankfully, I was rescued just before being put down. Personality: I'm a people-loving pup with a heart as warm as a summer day. Meeting new faces is one of my favorite things, and I easily make friends with both humans and fellow furry pals. I’m ok with sharing my food with other dogs. I'm polite and greet unfamiliar dogs with a friendly wag and a sniff. Walks: While I might pull on the leash a bit (I'm just excited), I'm generally well-behaved during walks. I haven't had much experience with strolls, so I might need some guidance initially. I have high energy though, after a good walk, I'm more than happy to curl up for a relaxing nap. Interactions: I'm not a barker and outdoor potty breaks are my preference, so a backyard or regular walks would suit me well. Training: Having spent most of my early years in a shelter, I'm ready for some home training adventures! Patient guidance and positive reinforcement will surely bring out the best in me. If you're ready to add a splash of sweetness to your life, I'm the Mango for you! Reach out to the shelter and let them know you're interested in making me a part of your family. Story
Meet Poca🐶 * Compatibility with People: She absolutely loves people! In familiar surroundings, she's a little charmer, showing her belly to strangers as a sign of affection! She prefers a slow approach in very unfamiliar environments 🥰 * Compatibility with Dogs: She enjoys the company of small rodent friends! She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play with them! * Separation Anxiety: Initially, she may whimper during outings or separation at bedtime, but soon she falls fast asleep in her own space! * Potty Training: She's a clever pup who quickly took to using pee pads! 🐶 * Hygiene: She may be a bit uncomfortable with hygiene routines at first, but she's a sweetheart who soon tolerates them well. * Walks: She's still getting used to the outdoors, but she's very interested in walks and enjoys them a lot. * Carsick: None at all! 💌Special Note💌 * She has mastered commands like 'sit,' 'wait,' 'go inside (house),' and 'paw' 😎 * As she's still a puppy, she may bark when hungry or scared during walks, or when her rodent sibling plays too rough. * Being young, she might need training for separation anxiety, housebreaking, chewing, teething, whimpering, jumping, howling, and barking. * It's hard to predict shedding and growth size as she's a mix breed.

Currently undergoing training not to bite hands. *Has mastered "sit" and "paw" commands!

Story
Currently in Toronto foster home Meet this adorable pup with an incredible rescue tale! This sweet girl's mom endured a tough life in a tiny cage until she was finally set free, along with her entire family, thanks to a caring rescue team. Venturing out of her cage for the first time in four months, joy was initially timid but quickly transformed into a joyful, bounding bunny of excitement! She adores exploring the great outdoors and shows it by hopping around with glee. While a bit shy at first, she warms up to strangers over time, especially women, and can't resist a belly rub once she trusts you. Loud kids may startle her, but with patience, she'll be your cuddle buddy in no time. With other doggy pals, she's a social butterfly, getting along swimmingly with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Although she may playfully climb on smaller dogs, she's a peacekeeper preferring to stay calm and avoid conflicts. This charming girl lives harmoniously with three feline companions, engaging in playful antics without a hint of aggression. If the cats dart around, she'll join in the fun, showing her gentle nature. Energetic and curious, she thrives on outdoor adventures and loves discovering new places. Once she's exhausted her energy, she's perfectly content relaxing indoors. Although she pulls on the leash out of excitement, she's a champ at following directions. Busy streets and loud noises may spook her, but she's as quiet as can be—no unnecessary barking from this sweetheart! Transitioning to new environments can be intimidating for her, but with gentle reassurance, she'll warm up quickly, rewarding you with kisses once she feels safe. And did we mention she's a foodie? This girl loves her treats! She's also a chew addict, relishing in wood sticks and toys that keep her entertained. Car rides are a breeze for her, though she might jump out if too excited, so buckle up for a safe journey together! Baths are no fuss, and she's a pro at drying off—making grooming a breeze. If you're ready for a loyal companion who's as sweet as can be, reach out to welcome this delightful pup into your loving home! She's eager to share her love and joy with you.
