Story
Dahlia, here!   I’m your typical Shiba who has requirements of LOTS of toys in my new home, a comfortable bed and lots of comfortable blankets to sleep on (I for sure love my bougie lifestyle.) I have become super snuggly- almost cat like. I’m fun-loving pretty little lady! I have been working really hard on the following things and have mastered them:   Car rides   Kennel trained   Politely take treats   Come when called   The word “NO”   Doggy door trained   Going up and down stairs   Play appropriately with other dogs   I’m working really hard and I am almost 100% potty trained. I take a little bit to warm up to new people but I’m very food motivated so it makes training easy!    Apply for me today   Apply here: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt   Name: Dahlia   D.O.B: 07/20/2022   Breed: Shiba Inu   Sex: Female   Weight: 23 lbs   Altered: Yes   Adoption: 400   Good with Cats: I'm not sure yet.   Good with Dogs: Yes, I like other dogs!   Good with Kids: I'm unsure yet.   Special Requirements: Another dog in the home and a fenced-in yard, please.   *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. It can also help set up a relationship with greater odds of success integrating your new pet into your family. Anyone who provides proof of completed positive reinforcement training will receive a 100 dollar refund from Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc! If you have questions or are wondering if the class you want to take qualifies please reach out! ♥   **This dog was rescued from a breeding situation. Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life   Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization ##1850496##

Story
Ahem. I have been dubbed 'Chex.'   It is a great honor to meet you. My foster madame has told me I'm a little stoic at times, but assures me that I, am in fact, a very good girl. There are so many things I am trying to to understand. The TV is particularly interesting, as are this soft plushies and chew sticks. I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to be doing with them, but I do want to find out. I like chasing my new friend 'ball.' I'm too dignified to bring it back, but it's all very exciting. I was a little leery of pets when I first got here. But I have come to be quite fond of them. All in all, I like this house business. As I have settled in, I'm rather joyful to run around. I love observing birds and squirrels. I wish I could chase them. I have started to find my voice and will talk to them as well as that sexy beast that appears in all reflective surfaces.   With everything happening, I am just so happy to be outside in nature that I forget to er... Relieve myself. Then when I'm calmed down in my room, I really need to go. And do.   I'll work on it.   I am an active lady and prefer some structure in my life. If you think you'd be a good match, leave your number with my secretary and I'll get back to you.   Apply here: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt   Name: Chex   D.O.B: 07/28/19   Breed: Shiba Inu   Sex: Female   Weight: 39 lbs   Altered: Yes   Adoption: 400   Good with Cats: Not at this time.   Good with Dogs: Yes   Good with Kids: Probably if they are respectful.   Special Requirements: Fenced in Yard   *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member.
