Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.If you are not able to view the pictures please email me and I will send them to you.  Sorry for any inconvience. HOTCH is 18 months old and weighs 14 pounds and came in with his sister HILLARY.  They were found on the streets just sitting in the pouring rain and they looked a mess.  Can provide pictures of them found. This brother and sister duo are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.  HOTCH is the more cuddly with me and likes to just hang out with me on the couch watching TV.  HILLARY is more social and playful with the other dogs in my home.  She is especially close to 2 tiny chihuahua's I have.  They may look a little mean or reserved but they are happy and have come a long way since coming into my home.  They walk very well on a leash without pulling and riding in the car without getting sick.  They love treats, chicken jerky treats! Both are completely healthy and playful but quiet and calm.  If you are interested in adopted them, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you, www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         April 23, 2024, 6:45 pm

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.If you are able to view the pictures, please email me and I will send them to you.  Thank you. Hillary and her brother Hotch came to me at the beginning of the year after being found just sitting on the street in the pouring rain.  They looked a mess.  They were always nice and quiet when they came in but they are happy and playing with all of the other dogs in my home even though it looks like they have a mean scroll on their face. Both are 18 months old and weigh 14 pounds.  Hillary has a bum leg due to a very old injury.  I considered amputation but the leg is not in her way or bothering her.  I have attached a video of her walking so you can see she is NOT special needs and nothing needs to be done to keep her healthy.  There is no maintenance for the leg or anything to keep her comfortable.  Both walk well on the leash, no pulling and ride in the car without getting sick.  They really do not play with toys but rather each other.  Their energy level is low considering how young they are. Hillary and Hotch are a bonded pair and have to be adopted together. They love to be loved on and are a sweet pair.  Hotch is more of the snuggler and sticks close to me.  Hillary is more social with the other dogs in my home.  I have more pictures I can provide of them. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!!!   SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THAT THE PICTURES ARE NOT SHOWING UP.  I WILL SEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED. Sally came to me with a name that she already knew but if not I would have named her DOWNY because she is always in my laundry basket or on the couch, wherever my fresh laundry is, she can be found.  She actually likes to bury herself in clothe, blankets and pillows.  She is right now hiding in between lots of pillows for the dogs. This girl is a funny little girl but quiet and sweet.  Sally is 4 1/2 years old and 16 pounds, she will not grow anymore.  She walks very well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick.  Sally gets along with all of the dogs, she actually is very independent and does not bother with the dogs so she would be fine as the only dog in the home.  She loves following me around and just hanging out with me. If you are interested in adopting SALLY please submit an application on the website below.  All of our dogs are located in San Antonio, TX but can be transported once they are adopted.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Bunnie is a 2 year old pure bred shih tzu who was a breeder release. She has come a long way from when she first got to her foster home.  She used to pancake to the floor in fear and hide in a corner to feel safe.  She now runs around the backyard and in the house, loves to cuddle on the couch and has to be with her person.  Her favorite time of the day is breakfast and dinner - she gets so excited to eat and will stand on her hind legs.  She is crate trained and housebroken and has learned to walk on a leash.  Bunnie is still unsure of her two shih tzu foster sisters and doesn't know how to play with them, but she has started to lay with them.  She also has no interest in toys but we are working on that.  Bunnie will be ready to be adopted at the end of April.  If you are interested in meeting Bunnie, fill out an application today! NY AG/MKTS RR 363Bunnie is being fostered in BuffaloBunnie's adoption donation is $600

Story
Meet Broc! This sweet little guy came to us as an unclaimed stray. Broc was estimated to be about 6 months old. He looks to be part Shih tzu but has long legs. Whatever his mix, Broc is absolutely adorable. He’s a little shy at first but he does warm up very quick. Broc will need training so his new owner needs the time , energy and patience to dedicate to him. If you are interested in Broc, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm and Saturday 12-3pm. https://www.lakeshorehumanesociety.org/online-adoption-form
