Templeton. Kinda makes you think of an English movie with some guy in a smoking jacket with leather patches on the elbows, standing in a library in front of a fire, doesn't it? But don't worry, I am not at all like that! When I was at the animal control, I guess they ran out of "normal dog names, and they gave me this one to try to make me feel better or special or something. I was found as a stray in a neighboring town and my hair was so long and so matted together, they would have to carry me around. I could hardly move and when I did, it hurt and pulled. After foster mom got me, it took her and the groomer 4 hours to get all the matts and tangles off me so that I could actually walk again. Boy, did that feel better! Over the next few days, I went to the vet and had some x-rays done and was found to have some degenerative disc disease in my upper back and the medications they gave me really helped a Lot! I feel like a new puppy!! I am an 8-year-old shih tzu mix and get along with everyone at my foster mom's house. Big dogs, little dogs, puppies, kitties or cats...they are all ok with me. I walk like a dream on a leash and am potty trained. I will bark to go outside here. And I sleep in my own little doggie bed at night. I will be happy in a house that has friendly pets and nice people but I am not sure how I am with small children so that is probably not the best for me. Older, dog-friendly children would be ok. But I have a couple of must haves. I feel good on my medicines so I would like to go to a house that will keep me on them. Cosequin, fish oil and meloxicam or whatever your vet will order for me to keep me pain free. AND I need to have regular grooming. I don't want to be a matted mess ever again!! If you can give me those two things, please apply to adopt me! We adopted her about 6 years ago, so not sure of her age, but estimate between 8-10. She is the sweetest dog. All she wants to do is cuddle. She has plenty of energy, and likes to play and run, but cuddles are her favorite. She has never bitten anyone. She can be eating, and you stick your hand in her bowl, still no growl. We feel she needs a person who will be home alot more than us, that can give her all the love she deserves. She is OK with my granddog, but I feel she would be best as a muched loved only dog. She is use to sleeping with her people, and if your on the sofa she wants to be on the sofa lol. She is very smart though and will do as She's told. House trained.

Rory is a wonderful playful little boss dog. He is super sweet and well behaved, he does have some serious thunder and haircut anxiety! For storms he will pant a ton and fuss, for haircuts he tries to run away! He is house trained but will “mark” if kept with another male dog. Some food growling because he has been raised with bigger dogs who will try to take his food! He is a big playful cuddle bug who would do well with someone who wants to give him lots of attention but he is pretty good on his own as long as it is not storming out! Also kennel trained and prefers to be in a dark windowless place during storms. He is great with other dogs just a bit shy at first he will hide from them and kids, my son just has a disability and can attempt to aggress towards the dogs and I am worried he will hurt Rory so I have to keep them apart and I think Rory would benefit from more attention and activity! He is 7 years old but I don’t remember his exact birthday but we got him as a baby!

Roadie is a 10yr old Purebred ShihTzu who lives in SA, TX. We adopted him from a private couple that had Roadie originally from a young pup. Roadie has lived with other dogs & a cat . ***If you have a pet(s) they will need to meet Roadie before finalizing an adoption.*** Roadie is an affectionate handsome boy looking for a loving person. He will sit with you on the couch or lay at your feet but likes to be in the same room as people. He can take small walks. He does very well on a schedule. (ex: he wakes at 6am to go out for potty, then eats 6:30am, naps till lunch, out for potty, eats supper 6-6:30pm). Roadie does really well in the car going for rides. If you get him a pet stroller, he sits in it w/o a fuss. We have taken him shopping with us and he enjoys it. He has a little snore when he sleeps & snorts. He is so eager to please you. Whenever you are having a bad day, Roadie will put a smile on your face. Please come and meet him: We know you will fall in love.
