Story
Liam is the ultimate super special edition Squishmallow that you did not know existed. Liam is a big goofball and an even bigger cuddle bug. He always wants part of the action, and LOVES to be by people. He loves to curl up on the couch and be a lap dog… despite being 75 lbs. While in foster care Liam has been house-trained, crate-trained, taught basic commands and walks nicely on a leash except when harassed by yard dogs. When passing by other dogs, Liam needs a confident handler that he can trust to keep him safe. With a calm handler he walks very nicely, however if you are unsure or anxious he will pick up on this and be anxious in turn. Liam is a big love bug with a lot of love to give! He loves to play with stuffed toys, but will go bonkers for a bone! He also enjoys peanut butter kongs as a nice treat. Liam loves to give and receive big hugs from his favorite humans. Liam currently lives with several large dogs and gets along with everyone after slow introductions. He has met a couple cats as well in foster care. He does not have a high prey drive, but he also is still learning how to interact with them. He likely did not live with cats previously. Liam has met only a couple children, he is large enough that he may knock over very small children but in general he is a gentle giant. Liam has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. Bring home this goofball to his forever family today! All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for private and/or group training at no additional cost to help ensure a successful adoption. To meet Liam, fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Once an application is filled out, our volunteers will reach out to you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet and greet.

Story
Bailey is one Chill Dude! He is a big Velcro Dog. He pretty much just wants to sleep most of the day, as long as he knows where you are but loves a nice long walk too. He is great on leash, no pulling or reactivity. He is the epitome of a gentle giant. He loves his foster's Cal King bed. She said she probably should not have let him get on it BUT the lure of having a huge snuggle bunny in bed at night, was just too tempting. Now he is in heaven and rarely leaves the bed. Bailey came from the Stockton Shelter, he had a large mass on his spleen, and an enlarged prostate with 2 very large testicles swinging around. We were able to raise $5,000 to get all of his medical done - splenectomy, neuter and ears cleaned and treated) and now he is just perfect. Tumor was benign so he is ready to be your life size snuggle bunny, if you are ready. We have noticed slight resource guarding with human food (reason he should not be in the kitchen) and high value treats but it is not very bad and we are working on it using "trade up" or not allowing him to have items he feels he needs to guard. As far as other dogs, he really does not care about them. Same with cats, just sorta looks at them and then goes about his business. BUT, that does not mean there is no prey drive. We will be testing him. As far as children go, we have not had him around any of those yet, but will. I suspect he treats them just like everything else, checks it out and then moves on his way. He does have a special need. We are pretty sure he is deaf. While he was under for his operation they cleaned out his ears and treated them but he still does not really hear much. Might be why he is so chill. We will have the ears looked at next to see if there is anything more needed for him. He is ready for new foster home or adoption. We are willing to do a Foster to Adopt or just a foster if you are interested. We need him to get more interaction with other stimuli, the home he is in now is very quiet.
