What makes Prudence special: Loves children and happily snacks on the treats they leave behind Gets along with other dogs (just give her a little time to adjust) Cat-friendly—she’ll happily share her space with feline friends High-energy and playful, but also enjoys perching on the back of the couch like a cat A true mystery mix—her tiny body says one thing, her expressive face says another. Guessing her breed is half the fun! Prudence is vibrant, affectionate, and ready to bring joy to a family who will celebrate her quirky personality. Story
Meet Buster 🐾 Buster is a 4-year-old sweetheart I adopted from a shelter, and he truly is an amazing dog. He’s great with kids (I have a 1-year-old), very gentle, and has no food aggression—you can touch him or his bowl while he’s eating and he stays calm. This is a very hard decision, but due to my current apartment situation and responsibilities, I’m no longer able to give him the time and space he deserves. About Buster:• Very loving and friendly• Great with kids• High energy – would do best in a home with a backyard• Scared of loud noises• he gets very anxious so you just have to be gentle with him• Has kennel anxiety• Has some allergies• I’m looking for a responsible, loving home—preferably someone with a house and yard where he can run and get the exercise he needs. My priority is making sure he goes to a safe, caring home where he’ll be happy and well taken care of. Please message me if you’re interested or have questions 💛

Story
Ice 🧊 (a.k.a Icey) is a 2 year old Staffy that is in need of a new home. Icey is a confident ALPHA that enjoys endless belly rubs, treats and water. While he is not a barker, he does a fabulous job of alerting us of any outsiders around our home. Although he can be independent, if you want a dog that snuggles he can so do beside you or at your feet. Due to a recent dementia diagnosis within our family, our family has to do frequent commuting to unfamiliar homes. This has caused a lot of stress for him. Therefore, we want to put his needs first and find him a safe, forever home full of enrichment and love.

Story
Baer (the street I found him on) is a 2-3 year old stray dog that I found in my neighborhood. He's 70 lbs. I believe he was dumped because he had a collar on but visibly, looked like he'd been on the street a while. My neighbors know I rescue dogs and asked if I could help him. For around a month on my dog walks I tried to get his trust but he never got close enough for a leash. Finally, with my two other dogs, he approached. He was timid but I got a leash on him. He didn't want to come in my house. He preferred being outside so I put a kennel on my deck and he stayed in the yard. While he still loves being outside, he's very much a big playful happy indoor dog. He loves toys, he still has a big appetite and he follows me at my heels everywhere I go in the house. He would benefit from one other dog to play with and a fenced in yard. Training is still needed but he really is a great pet.

Story
If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at GNARHouston@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home! Name: Ivy Sex: Female Color/Pattern: White with gray ears, fawn face markings Breed: Small bully mix Weight: 40 pounds Age at intake: Approximately 1 year 6 months BDAY approx: 4/7/2022 Found date: 4/7/2023 Intake date: 10/5/2023 Coat length: Short Description: Ivy is a super sweet and energetic young pitbull mix. Everyone she meets is a new friend! Personality: Ivy is such a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle, give hugs, and be close to her people. She is very energetic and loves playing fetch and tug, but running around outside with her doggie friends is her absolute favorite activity. She loves everyone she meets, and she's just happy to be included. Due to her high energy level, she would do best in an active household or a home with a large fenced-in yard. She is young and still working on leash and crate manners, but she's a quick learner and eager to please. Background: Ivy was dumped in the parking lot of a vet clinic, and one of the staff there took her in as a foster. When she was found, she was underweight; covered in fleas, cuts, and scrapes; and was heartworm positive. Lucky for her, the vet clinic got her all fixed up! She was cleaned up, spayed, provided with fast kill heartworm treatment. Now she is officially heartworm free and ready for her forever home! Compatibility Dogs - yes Cats - unknown Kids - older kids - yes; younger kids/babies - her energy level might be too high
