I was born in Texas and my family purchased me and my brother. It was so much fun growing up with my brother we were best of friends and had the best home a pup could ask for. We learned how to be good indoor dogs and companions and our parents spoiled us and took the best care of us with lots of love. However, what breeders don't tell people is there is a thing called littermate syndrome and it can take years to raise it's ugly head but when it does it just turns everyone's whole world upside down. This is what happened to us when we were about a year old we just woke up one day hating each other. We started fighting and all our lives changed. Our parents tried everything to get the fighting to stop even separating us however I ended up so nervous I started losing weight and shedding so much which is not normal for me. My family was so heartbroken as we were their furry kids but they knew it was no longer a happy life for me to be there. Luckily the boarding lady we went to also runs this rescue so tearfully my mom called boarding rescue lady and told her the situation and asked f she could find me the best home. They dropped me off and my life went back to being happy again - I was no longer stressed, gained weight, and stopped shedding again. About a month after I got here my brother came back for boarding and we hoped and prayed to reunite our family so I could go home but nope we still hated each other. So the decision has been made that for my safety and happiness I should definitely find a happy loving home without my brother. Please scroll down for the boring information about me the rescue lady said people might want to know. Please be aware birthday and breeds listed are our best guesses based on looks and temperament Estimated DOB 2/1/2023 Size – 55 lbs History- Surrendered due to littermate syndrome. Temperament- Super sweet, very smart, loves attention, and tries really hard to do what is expected of her. Has learned some basic commands and is just a really, really sweet, playful girl. Energy Level- High energy puppy who loves to run and play but also very well behaved for being so young Dogs/Cats- Super playful with everyone she meets. Has loved every dog she has met here. No cats at all - she has a strong natural hunting instinct even though she has seen my cats since she was young she just seems to want to hunt them. She probably wouldn't do good with chickens either. Kids/People- Good with everyone she meets. Has met small children from 2-10 and is awesome just doesn't know her size so can be a bit much for small children. She still tries to hug my 4 year old granddaughter but she has giant paws and is still a bit clumsy and between the two she will sometimes miss and accidently scratch her. So though she is good with kids she can be a little clumsy and may knock them down trying to love them. Her parents did teach her to keep her paws on the ground but I've noticed it depends on who she's with and if it is enforced. LOL I don't so she loves to put her paws n me for attention Commands/Obedience Level- Willow knows some basic commands and is very well behaved overall. She is getting better in the car but has gotten car sick from the time she was a baby. So she doesn't really care for car rides but is an easy traveler overall she just gets carsick so drools heavily and will sometimes throw up so we try not to feed her prior. Housetrained/Crate Trained- House trained, crate trained and dog door trained perfectly Willow is an amazing girl. She is absolutely beautiful and just a perfect girl all the way around. She is very food and treat motivated to the point of being like a vacuum. If she has access to it she will eat it so just be aware this girl loves to eat so if you free feed it would be best to watch her weight closely. She loves being brushed and looking pretty but also absolutely loves water and roughhousing with the other dogs. Since she plays so hard here I keep her short but her mom used to keep her fluffy and beautifully groomed. So she is used to grooming but if you have a swimming pool she will absolutely jump in. She is just such a nice dog and would make an amazing addition to any active home without cats. Adoption fee $400 includes spay, rabies, hernia repair, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, collar and leash, she also has some of her belongings from home that her mom had sent with her, and all the support you need.
