Story
Jack, our charming 7-year-old mini-doodle, with a heart of gold and a tale of resilience. Rescued from a neglectful breeding situation, Jack has overcome adversity with grace and now seeks a loving forever home where he can truly flourish.Despite his rough start, Jack is a bundle of love waiting to blossom. While he may be a bit shy around new faces, his affection knows no bounds once he warms up to you. With a patient and understanding adopter, Jack is sure to thrive and shower endless love in return.Jack's journey to finding his footing includes discovering the joy of canine companionship. He gets along famously with other dogs and is learning the ropes of playtime with them. A confident furry friend of small to medium size will be his guiding light, showing him the ropes of being a cherished family member.Although Jack had to bid farewell to his teeth due to neglect, he hasn't let that dim his spirit. He's adapted remarkably well and can enjoy his meals with ease. A full grooming session was just what he needed to feel like a new pup, and he handled it like a champ. In the realm of house training, Jack is making strides and only has occasional slip-ups. He's a dream to have around, especially when curled up in his x-pen near his foster's bed or joining his furry friends for lstrolls around the neighborhood. We believe that Jack's true potential will shine brightest in a calm and nurturing environment, alongside a furry companion who exudes confidence and kindness. Being a part of Jack's journey toward happiness is a rewarding experience, and we can't wait for him to find his perfect match. Story
Alvie Smiles needs a home for his birthday. He will be five years old on 4/13/24. He is a wonderful, well-mannered boy. He loves toys, playing in the yard, and mostly sleeping with his girl before she went to college. He knows basic commands and is rock-solid house-trained. Alvie is very affectionate and loves attention. He would love a home where he gets to go for walks and gets lots of attention. Right now, he is living with his "grandparents." He spends most of his day in the sunroom. He is let out twice a day and has never had an accident in his room. Alvie’s "Grandparents" want the best for this big boy and realize he needs a young, active individual or family. Therefore, they are rehoming him. They asked for help as they want to make sure his new home is the best possible home. He will stay with his "grandparents" until his new home is found. According to his "grandparents", he is good with the toy poodle in the home and great with kids, too . Cats are an unknown. If you want to fulfill this sweet boy's birthday wish, apply today!Name: Alvie SmilesBreed: Poodle/Golden RetrieverSex: MaleAge: 4 years  (estimated)Weight: 70lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  Texarkana Tx    IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Lexi is a fun-loving girl who craves attention. She is sweet and friendly to everyone she meets. She loves to play with other dogs, and she entertains herself with her favorite dog bone. She will follow you wherever you go and loves to be constantly by your side. She loves to snuggle with you whenever she can. This precious girl was pulled from a Houston shelter. She gave birth to a small litter of puppies that did not survive. She was depressed and not thriving at all. So when we were asked to take her, we jumped on it and got her to a safe foster home. She goes to her kennel upon command and sleeps quietly through the night, although she would love to be with you. She loves unconditionally. She is just so sweet and borders on being a Velcro dog, as she always wants to be with people. The perfect forever home for Lexi-poo would just about be any home that can give her the love and attention she craves and deserves.Name: Lexi-pooBreed: PoodleSex: FemaleAge: 7 years  (estimated)Weight: 9lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  Texarkana Tx    IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
