REX Standard Poodle Male Black 21 months 60 lbs​ ​ REX - charming companion, known for his gentle and reserved nature.  While he may be quiet, his tail wags enthusiastically to greet those he loves. Rex thrives on human company and enjoys the presence of multiple individuals, becoming more lively and engaged. Remarkably, he is impeccably trained and has maintained a flawless record of indoor cleanliness, never once having had an accident. He is a well-behaved companion, walking nicely on the leash. Initially shy around other dogs, he's gradually becoming more comfortable and friendly, showing a willingness to interact with them. He has a fondness for chewable toys, which he enjoys chewing on. With patience and love, Rex is sure to blossom into a cherished member of the family. With proper training and time to become more comfortable, he will make an amazing companion. We recently discovered REX has an eye issue and recently had him checked by an Opthamologist. It has been ascertained he has genetic juvenile cataracts and is an excellent candidate fir cataract surgery. As a rescue, we do not have the funding for this, so have decided to try and find an adopter who is prepared to agree to do this for him and in return will not ask for an adoption donation. Call me Coco  He is an easy going 4 month old puppy. He's happy to say hello to everyone he meets and quickly sits to be patted. He's learning quickly basic obedience and will sit to be let in or out of the house. He sleeps through the night in a crate and goes to the toilet outside (hasnt had an accident since he's been with us). Walks on the lead well!  He loves being part of family unit, running around the backyard, chasing bubbles and enjoys playing with water! He is fabulous with our children aged 10 & 7! Coco is an intelligent, calm and friendly dog and a pure delight to have in our home! Polo is the standard Poodle that you have been looking for!   This boy is roughly 5-7 years old and weighs 50 pounds with a little that he could gain to fill out better.   Recently his owner passed away and he was on the way to being dropped off at the local county shelter when a kind woman stepped up and took him home.  Soon Critter Cavalry Rescue was called about Polo and asked to help him find a foster and a new home.  This dog is the best and most chill dog on the planet. He is ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!   He is not a dog that is looking to join a family and be a playmate to another dog.  While he might play some….he just wants to be your shadow and your love.  He is housebroken, totally healthy, happy with a ready smile for everyone and good with all creatures he meets.  Polo needs to transition soon to a new family before he gets attached to the foster.   His heart and soul needs to be settled and reassured he will be loved and not bounced anymore. She’s a poodle mixed with another unknown breed. She also is not a picky eater and doesn’t have any special needs. She loves to play outside and cuddle! Story
Chiquis is a wonderful dog and I wish we could keep her, but I am offering her up for adoption because she deserves better attention than what she has been getting in the last few months. Because she is a senior, she spends most of her time sleeping. She needs to be taken out for bathroom walks at least four times per day, as she is not able to control her sphincters as well as she used to when she was younger. She has arthritis that she developed a long time ago after a surgery to reconstruct her back legs because a bigger dog attacked her while visiting friends. She walks just fine and sometimes even runs, but due to her age, she is going blind and also deaf. She needs a lot of tenderness which she gets from my children, including my toddler. They love her tremendously and tend to her whenever they can, but now they are rarely home and I am to max capacity. Chiquis needs owners who can commit more time to her during her senior years.
