Meet Whiskers, a lively Schnauzer and Aussie Mix who is sure to bring joy to any home. He is very playful, and his sweet disposition makes him a great companion for snuggling up on the couch! Whiskers has a unique sense of humor that's sure to make you laugh. He's a 25–30-pound bundle of love with a long, scruffy white and chocolate coat that's just begging to be petted. At nine months old, he's a young adult, but he's got the energy and spirit of a puppy! He gets along with dogs but not cats! Whiskers is looking for a family that will appreciate his fun-loving personality and give him the love he deserves! Adopt Whiskers and let him fill your life with laughter and love. Story
Beamer, a 1 year old young, independent Schnauzer mix who has a spirit that's all his own weighs 25 pounds. He's the type of dog who loves to explore and is always on the move, sniffing out new adventures around every corner. Beamer wears a medium/scruffy coat of black and tan! He doesn't need constant attention, but he does appreciate a good belly rub from time to time. Beamer's independence doesn't mean he doesn't love company! He enjoys the companionship of humans and other dogs.  No cats, though! His youthful energy is infectious and his love of life is undeniable! Adopting Beamer means bringing home a friend who will always be there for you, ready to embark on new adventures together. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 April 23, 2024, 10:51 pm

Story
Meet Max! He is what we believe is a 5 1/2 month old schnauzer mix! He was found as stray and was then dropped at the shelter. He was so covered in fleas and was so scared of human touch. His fur was in bad shape and he was very wormy. He got a flea bath and has been since treated for worms (multiple times) he is now healthy and we have been working on getting him better with being touched and loved on. He now loves to give kisses and roll over for belly rubbs! He is great with other dogs, cats and kids. He is still a little shy, and will for sure be a little shy in a new home, but will come around with some extra love and some treats. He is up to date on his vaccines, microchipped and dewormed. He hope you will consider him today!

He was found as a stray and was covered in fleas. His fur was in bad shape and he was loaded with worms. He has since been treated for both and is in much better shape and is now working on his people skills, as he came to us scared of human touch. He is now coming out of his shell and loves getting lots treats! He will take some time to settle in and come out of his shell, but will be very shy at first, but all he needs is some time and extra loving! He hope that you will give him a chance!
