Meet Uzu | Apply to Adopt Me Uzu (, pronounced Woo-joo), means “universe” in Korean. He is a gentle, 3 year old Korean Mastiff currently thriving in foster care. At 80 pounds, he is a striking and affectionate presence, with a calm, sensitive personality.   Uzu is slowly gaining confidence and learning to trust the world around him. He enjoys walks, sniffing everything in sight, and showing playful behaviors like zoomies and bows once he feels safe. Uzu is food motivated, especially for bananas and sweet potatoes, and interacts well with other dogs in a patient and structured environment.   Uzu would thrive in an adult-only home with an active lifestyle and a warm, understanding family who can give him the space and support he needs. Uzu is eligible for our Jindo Journey training stipend - his adopters will be set up for success with a $300 grant towards his training!   To learn more about Uzu’s rescue story, click here. DNA shows 50% Dogue de Bordeaux mixed with Shar-Pei, Neopolitan Mastiff, Lab & Bulldog! Panda is good with people of all ages and other dogs. We rescued Panda from a hoarding situation where he was born just 16 days before. Panda is now about to set out on the path to happiness. Found as a stray and heartbreakingly emaciated, this sweet boy was scooped up and given a second chance by our rescue team.
