PLEASE READ: Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable dogs! All dogs listed are still available. If interested, please complete our no obligation application. This can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Select the Applications tab, then Adoption Application. THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN START THE PROCESS. It can take up to a week to process an application. We are an all-volunteer rescue so please be patient. Our adoption area is limited to a 4 hour radius of Indianapolis. We try our best to provide all information in our bios. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask during the interview process. Some of our dogs have special requirements such as needs another dog in the home or requires a physical and permanent fenced yard. These requirements are not negotiable. Unless otherwise noted, we do not cat test our adoptable dogs. We also require that all pets in your household be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm/flea preventative. E-MAILS: We do not respond to e-mail inquiries without an application. We regret that we cannot respond to every e-mail unless you fill out an application. All the dogs we offer for adoption have been spayed/neutered, wormed and microchipped, are up-to-date on immunizations, have been tested for heartworm and are currently receiving a monthly preventative. Ogden, or Oggie Doggie as we like to call him, has such a zest for life!!! He loves people and attention ... armpit scratches and ear rubs are a favorite of his!!! Oggie is a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound/pointer mix weighing about 65 lbs. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is constantly involved in games of chase and wrestling. He is slightly dominant with males so, although he does play with other males well, would do best in a home with a playful girlfriend. Oggie is high energy so needs a large yard with at least a 5 foot fence; he can easily jump over anything shorter and will do so if he spots a bunny. He loves toys but is a "slayer" of the stuffed ones; they then have to be buried in shallow graves in the yard. LOL! Ogden is sure to keep you laughing with his antics; he has such a huge personality! His perfect home will be one where he won't have to be crated for long hours, a large yard with a 5 foot or higher fence, and must have a very playful female dog to be his best friend. Oggie Doggie's adoption fee is $225; he's neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Applications are available at waldosmuttleycrew.org . * Gorgeous girl that showed up at our shelter very skinny and in poor shape* Was lucky enough to find her way into one of our amazing foster homes* Lives with several dog hound siblings and does very well* Incredibly sweet and loves attention from her people- ear rubs are her favorite* Quite the cuddler and will lean into you for more pets and love* Enjoys sunbathing, sampling various treats, talking, and playing with her foster dog sibling* Not a fan of thunderstorms (has trouble relaxing and sitting still)* Fantastic for nail trims and baths- loves spa days* Smart girl that knows several commands (sit, come, stay, no)* Prefers a special stuffed Kong or West Paw toy when going into her crate* Requires a heavy duty style of crate and takes an anxiety medication daily* A little too interested in cats for our liking- needs a kitty free home* Would likely do well in a home with childrenBessieFemaleTreeing Walker Coonhound mixDOB: 10/16/2018Heartworm Positive (will require treatment)Bessie's adoption fee is $30 and includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and a free wellness exam.
