Story
And Mr. Wiggles is ready to find a family to call his own and boy he is going to make some lucky family so so happy. Mr. Wiggles is Leona's brother - her sister was already adopted and now it is his turn He is estimated to be 1.5 years old - a wire haired pointer mix that honestly does not realize his size - he is a big boy - all muscle at 78 pounds. He is one of the happiest dogs around and loves to play with his toys and run zoomies in the back yard. He is housebroken and crate trained. When he first came to me he would stick his whole head in the water bowl and come up and you can see in some of the pictures all the water droplets sticking to him with the way his fur is - he has since learned to drink water like a normal dog :) While he does well with other larger dogs - we think he would do best with a female dog as he wants to be dominant with male dogs and NO cats - he likes to chase them a little too much. He needs an active family - he would make an excellent hiking buddy and would love a fenced in yard to run his zoomies in. While he loves kids we do not recommend smaller children as he is still just a big puppy and does not realize he is not a 10 pound dog - he could easily knock a small child down - not on purpose but out of excitement. His personality is amazing and he loves to throw that paw up at you like hey nice to meet you. He had no idea what a leash was when he came to the rescue and has made leaps and bounds walking on a leash now Mr. Wiggles is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested and current on heartworm prevention and flea/tick medication, dewormed, microchipped and has had a full blood panel done. His adoption fee is $250.00 All of our fosters are in private foster homes located in western NC and upstate SC - we do not have a facility - if you are interested in meeting Mr. Wiggles - we do NOT set up a meet and greet until the adoption application has been filled out and reviewed - we do vet references - our adoption application can be found on our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org We also require a home visit and do a week trial run before we will finalize any adoption So if you are looking for an amazing boy - look no further - Mr. Wiggles is your boy - Get those applications in - he is ready to find a family to call his own
