Adoption Application: bit.ly/C2CND_App *** CAN GO HOME AFTER 11/26/2024 *** *** BONDED TO LITTLE MANDY *** Quick Facts: Name: Little Tucker Estimated Birthday: 9/13/2017 Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Size: 6ish Pounds House Trained: Work in Progress Adoption Fee: $650 for both Little Tucker is an 8-pound Yorkie, around 9 years old, who has been through a lot in his life. Dumped by a breeder, Tucker is still adjusting to the world beyond the cramped space he knew before. Everything is new to him—walks, toys, even affection from humans—but he’s making incredible progress in his new life. Tucker’s favorite thing in the world is small toys that fit perfectly in his mouth. He’ll carry them around all day, almost like a pacifier, and he’s very protective of them. If you try to take his toy, he’ll hide it in his crate to keep it safe, but don’t worry, he’s not aggressive. He just loves his little treasures. Although Tucker has never really experienced walks before, he’s learning to walk on a leash, though he’s still a bit nervous about it. He’s also working on his potty training. He’s getting better, but it will take some time and patience. He’s accustomed to wearing a belly band indoors, and he’s crate trained, which gives him a sense of security. Tucker is an affectionate dog who is learning to enjoy the attention he receives. He’s gentle and loves people, though because of his toy-guarding instincts, he would do best in a home with older kids who understand how to respect his space. Tucker has formed a very close bond with Little Mandy, and these two would love to be adopted together. They provide each other comfort and security, and adopting them as a pair would give them both the chance to continue their journey of healing and growth together. Tucker may still need a little time to adjust to his new world, but with a patient family, he’ll blossom into a loyal, loving companion who will reward your kindness with unconditional affection. ******* Little Tucker was used for breeding and most likely kept confined to his crate. Up until now potty training was not something he was taught so potty training will need consistent work and patience. ******** Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Little Tucker and Little Mandy is $ 650 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Adoption Application: bit.ly/C2CND_App *** CAN GO HOME AFTER 11/26/2024 *** *** BONDED TO LITTLE TUCKER *** Quick Facts: Name: Little Mandy Estimated Birthday: 9/14/2014 Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Size: 6ish Pounds House Trained: Work in Progress Adoption Fee: $650 for both Little Mandy is a sweet, 7-year-old Yorkie weighing just 6 pounds. She was dumped by breeders with several other dogs, and she’s been adjusting to life outside of that world. She’s a playful little dynamo who has discovered the joy of squeaky toys, and oh, does she love them! Whether inside, outside, in her crate, or even while drinking water, Mandy can’t get enough of her squeaky toys. She’s full of energy and will keep you entertained with her adorable antics as she carries her toys around like they’re the best things ever. Little Mandy is still learning some basic skills, and she’s a little nervous about new experiences. She’s not yet familiar with walking on a leash and is still a bit scared when it comes to walks. But she’s improving every day and is eager to please. Mandy is also working on potty training. She’ll sometimes use a pee pad, but she’s not always reliable, so it will take consistent effort and patience to help her master this. Mandy is crate trained and feels safe in her crate, especially when she’s feeling overwhelmed or unsure. Little Mandy is a very sweet and affectionate dog who loves everyone she meets. She’s friendly with both people and other dogs, but because of her tiny size, she would do best in a home with older children who will be gentle with her. She’s small and fragile, so extra care is needed to keep her safe. Mandy has a very strong bond with Little Tucker, and the two are practically inseparable. They provide each other with comfort and emotional support, and it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together. With a patient and loving family, Mandy will continue to grow in confidence and become a playful, affectionate companion who will fill your home with joy. ******** Little Mandy was used for breeding and most likely kept confined to her crate. Story
This darling boy is called Lil Deuce Coup and he's a lively boy that is currently being tormented by a 3 year old child.   HD us 8 years old and a Yorkie mix weighing 9 pounds.  Getting groomed this week and a full vet visit with bloodwork done and microchipped.   This guy has kept his cool since the baby was born but enough us enough. At one time he was potty trained but currently he is not.  You know the story.  Baby comes later after dog was raised as their 'baby' and then potty training goes out the window.  This is reversible and we have tips to change it.  Lil Coup deserves a long life of peace and tranquility!  Can you give test to him? Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  asap       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 1, 2025, 9:03 pm

Story
My name is Piper and I am the cutest little thing. I love everyone. I love to kiss and kiss and kiss. I love to be held. I am playful with people and learning to play with dog toys and other dogs. So far I get along with all dogs but get nervous a bit with large dogs. My rescue was told that I could not walk due to a bump on my back. I was found tied to a bench with a diaper on. After seeing my new vet and arriving at my new foster home, not only can I walk but I can run. I may have a wonky gait but I am getting stronger. Our vet said I most likely have a birth defect where my spine has a strange formation causing the lump on my back. I still need diapers because I cannot control my pee and poop. It just pushes out by itself. The good news is it comes out on its own. In spite of my special needs, I am happy and bouncy and oh so loving. If you can embrace my special needs and my awesome personality, I may be the dog for you. I would love a home with another same sized dog. I will need to have my diapers change but do well with that. I would love a fenced in yard so I know I am safe outside. I would love to go places with you. I ride well in the car. I am just perfect. If you have room in your heart and your arms and lap, please apply for me at safeanimalhaven.orgNovember 5, 2024, 12:12 am
