Story
Welcome Lulu to CCPAL Rescue. Lulu is an 11-year-old Yorkiehuahua. She weighs 8 to 10 pounds maximum. She has the long nose like a Chihuahua but the colorings and hair of the Yorkshire Terrier. She has some hearing loss and will need a dental at some point in the future. She is very sweet, loves cats and is good in her crate. She has some hearing loss but will make some lucky family a great low energy lap companion. She has a soft coat and is not a shedding dog. Her story is that she lost her owner who was moved into a facility that could only care for her owner and not his pet. No one in the family could care for her and so she is now in the Rescue looking for her forever lap to join. She is a wonderful little dog and has been around lots of cats for her entire life. She is absolutely fine with all cats. She is heartworm negative, microchipped, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her forever home. We think this little gem would be perfect for a senior single or a senior couple looking for an easy dog with a lower energy lifestyle. She would be great for anyone wanting a nice little companion to join their family. She is great in her crate and decent in the car. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Hello, folks! Name's Jimmy.  You already met my sister the Queen of Quirk..... I'm a young, sweet, and friendly guy with the lonely title of Prince. Also, curious, goofy, gentle, brave, smart, playful, energetic, mellow, funny, cuddly, and loyal. Whew! That's a mouthful. I'm pee pad and kennel trained too! Funny story, I landed here at the shelter because I mistook The Queen's toy as mine....and The Queen didn't approved of that from me,only the Prince brother. Whoops! But hey, I'm all about learning and I promise NO mailman or steed chasing chasing from me. So, why adopt me? Well, I'm a charming goofball who'll keep you laughing and loved. I am a mellow, yellow boy. I passed my New Hampshire health cerficate and ready to go to my furever kindom without Queen of Quirk..  I am at least 8 months old.  I am neutered, up to date on my shots, rabies shot included, wormed, microchipped, heartworm prevention. etc. Are you her new family?  Please fill out our adoption application at:http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24721/generic Over the past almost 2 years the numbers of local surrenders has skyrocketed. For example, Marley and her Puppy from last summer were both local surrenders. Both needed to be fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and cared for before going to their forever homes. People like us open our homes for them, but the rescue provides their food and crates and anything else they need. The expenses add up. Adoption fees don’t begin to cover the costs for some of these dogs. We do our part by providing a loving temporary home, socializing the dogs, getting to know their behaviors, etc. (by the way, we do it voluntarily, w no compensation). But we do see the money spent on all these dogs before they can even meet their potential family. So for all my animal loving friends out there…if you could be so kind, and make a donation, $5, $10 (or more) to help raise funds for Survivors Paws Animal Rescue Inc so they can continue to feed, treat, and adopt out these beautiful dogs, We would greatly appreciate it!  There are many more dogs waiting for their turn to be adopted. Over average it costs Survivor's Paws between $900.00 to $1.200.00 on average to save local dogs.  Spay and neuter clinics for dogs in the Upper Valley are slim and booking out months down the road.  We can't keep a dog in foster for 6 to 9 months waiting for a spay/neuter clinic to have space so we have to use our local vets.  Our adoption fees do not even cover our bet bills. Please SHARE,  donate, foster, volunteer and adopt.   Please fill out our adoption application at:http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24721/generic Please DO NOT call to see if our dogs are still available.   We require our application be filled out before we answer any questions.  Please call your veterinarian's office to grant permission for Survivor's Paws Animal Rescue to speak with them. Adopt local. We are a local White River Jct., VT, NH and Connecticut rescue. When you adopt from Survivor's Paws....you become part of Survivor's Paws family. A Survivor's Paws representative will meet you with your puppy or dog on the day of transport. We help you proper introductions with other fur members of your household. We offer love, support, advise and training throughout your puppy/dog lives. Become part of Survivor's Paws family and adopt from Survivor's Paws Animal Rescue. You must be 21 in order to adopt from us. Please fill out the application on a computer, not a cell phone. We do NOT guarantee that you will get approved to adopt from us. We will be in contact with you as soon as we are ready to begin to process your application usually within 48 to 72 hours. The whole process can take a week or longer depending on how many applications we receive. Please understand we are volunteers, we work, have families and holidays on top of volunteering to save dogs on days off, evenings, and weekends. We do NOT adopt to Massachusetts, Rhode Island at this time. All potential adopters with dogs must have them up to date on vaccinations, altered, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. ##1968731##

Story
Hi, I'm Bibi, the Queen of Quirk! I'm young, full of energy, and I've got a heart bigger than my appetite (which is saying something). I'm curious and smart, a real Sherlock Bones, you could say. My journey to Survivor's Paws Animal Rescue? Well, let's just say my adventurous spirit and running the roost of too many. Yes, you read that right. A Queen that has so many subservents needs her own castle with friends but I will be Queen!!!   I'm also pee pad and kennel trained, which is a plus, right? I'm looking for a forever home where my goofiness, bravery, and playfulness can shine. Adopt me, and let's make our own fun stories! I passed my New Hampshire health cerficate and ready to go to my furever kindom without Prince Jimmy..  I am at least 8 months old.  I am spayed, up to date on my shots, rabies shot included, wormed, microchipped, heartworm prevention. etc. Are you her new family?  Please fill out our adoption application at:http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24721/generic Over the past almost 2 years the numbers of local surrenders has skyrocketed.
