Coming your way, a lovely Saluki mix who, well simply put, embraces a joyful spirit.While I dealt with a challenge of my right back leg issue that hindered my ability to walk, I was rescued and surrounded by care, love, and treatment. I underwent procedures, wore braces, and received the support needed to regain my health.I'm a sweet girl, who has a happy demeanor. I enjoy the water, so maybe there is Labbie in me too. I certainly like to play.You can see there is a small bit of favoring movement on that rear leg yet, but it does not hinder me. In fact, I have a good energy level and am considered a social butterfly a social butterfly by my rescuers. I have formed a strong connection with her friend, OkieDokie. I'd love of we could find a home together, though we know that can be a challenge, so could be adopted seperately, as well.Though my leash skills are a work in progress and house training is ongoing, I getsalong well with dogs and kids. My journey towards recovery showcases how adaptable I am and how much of a difference the love of a rescuer can transform a life.I'd love to start marking new milestones on my path to a brighter, healthier future. Hoping that includes fun times in Canada. I hear tale that is the place for us dog's tails to really start wagging. Hikes in the mountains, runs on the beaches, toys to play with, oh boy. Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.My adoption fee is $800.00 plus applicable taxes, if I am adopted by myself. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I are able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Our adoption fee if together will be $1500.

Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs.
The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.
Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.
[MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.
[TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis.
