Story
Ika is very very loving and has much playful energy. She loves to run and be active for some periods of the day. She loves laying on her back and getting belly rubs, that's her sweet spot! Most of the day she can be calm and on her own, playing with her toys or sleeping (she knows how to stay busy on her own). Gets super excited when she´s given attention or going out for a walk. She barks very little. She´s only peed in the house a couple of times but other than that she very much prefers and knows to do it only outside. Outdoors she can be in all environments, in the water, loves hikes, and running with other dogs (she still needs to learn how to behave a little better when on a leash and to learn to calm down when she´s overexcited with other dogs, like most puppies). She truly is a great dog and deserves a loving family. Ika is being fostered in Ajijic, Mexico, and can be adopted locally or to the United States or Canada. ##1807174##

Est. DOB 1/15/2023, WEIGHT ~50 LB. Hi my name is Zeus!  Everyone says I am so handsome (after all, I was named  after a Greek god), don’t you agree? My foster mom says I'm one of the smartest dogs she's ever known and she's fostered many dogs over the years.  I'm a teenager and I learn very quickly. I love everyone and just love to play with my brother, Apollo, especially in our kiddie wading pool.  I'd love to meet you, I know we could be the best of friends furever! HOPE ID D23-0628-0024 If you are interested in Zeus and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com  and a HOPE volunteer will get back to you.April 18, 2024, 1:55 pm

Story
Blue eyed God ...  Est. DOB 1/15/2023, WEIGHT ~50 LB. I’m Alive … My name is Apollo and I’m alive because I have a foster home.  I’m alive because my foster mom made a small sacrifice and rescued me, made some small adjustments to her routine and welcomed me into her home.  Now I’m looking for my furever home.  I’m quite intelligent if I say so myself, and quite loveable too.  I love to play (I’m a teenager) so if you like to play fetch, I’m your boy!  Or we could just chill on the couch.   I love playing with other dogs too. I know you’re a caring person because you’re looking for a furbaby to add to your family and guess what: you’d be saving two dog’s by adopting me because then my foster mom could rescue another dog in need!  Thank you for caring and wanting to adopt a rescue dog, I hope you’ll come to HOPE adoptions this weekend to meet me and see if we’re a fit for each other.  Paws crossed! Story
Max is a 2 yo old shepsky pup, who is super sweet and friendly. He loves attention and hugs and always welcomes new people with a huge smile. His foster mom says that he is a happy-go-lucky boy who is very polite with everyone and doesn’t have any behavioral issues. He is well-socialized and acts confidently with all pups. Max is being fostered with three 45 lbs female dogs. He is friendly with all dogs of all sizes. He is very playful with dogs and likes to play catch and seek in the backyard. Max is Good with children. His foster mom has 2 granddaughters age 5 and 7. Max is potty-trained. He is Ok being crated but his foster mom doesn’t like to crate any dogs. He is Medium energy. Max H is fairly calm inside the house but once he goes into an open field, he will have zoomies and run in circles for about 10 min. He is very respectful of rules and will only play in his space and with his own toys inside the home. He needs to go out on 15-20 minutes walk at least once a day to release his energy. He knows “sit” and “stop” in Spanish. He walks fine on leash but could use some more training with it. Because Max H is a very intelligent dog, he would benefit from training or from activities where he is highly stimulated. It would be good for him to learn more commands. He would enjoy living in a house with another dog who is as active as he is. Having physically active parents would be great for him because he is a dog who likes the outdoors and walking every day. Max is 74 lb, heartworm negative, neutered, is microchipped and is on heartworm and flea prevention. He can travel to most states and Canada for the right home. A fully fenced yard is mandatory for our dogs.
