Story

Wrigley is a one year old, 40 pound, floof! He does well with other dogs & has been around dogs as small as 25 pounds. He listens to other Dogs corrections very well and learns who and who not wants to play with him. He is a medium energy chowchow/Malamute. He will require about 40-45 minutes of exercise twice/day. He will be a great hiking partner and likes to be around and play with other dogs. We think this young guy spent a lot of time on his own without any human connection/contacts. He will take awhile to warm up to new humans and additional training to help him comfort with the crate will be needed. He will thrive with a patient Adopter that is willing to help get him through his crate and house training. Due to this and his vocal tendencies, we currently do not like apartment living will be best for him. He walks wonderful on a leash and is eager to learn. Hi there friends! My name is Aphrodite. I was adopted once and really loved living in a home! Due to life changes my family had to bring me back! I still love all my friends here at the shelter but I'd love to be back in a home! I am a little cautious meeting new people but if you have cookies for me I can be bought! I've been working on my training here, I am learning to walk nicely on a leash, I take treats nicely, and I like kids! A big yard would be fun for me to run around in, I love doing zoomies with my people! If you're interested in meeting me, please give TCRAS a call at 719-686-7707 to schedule an appointment!
