Lisa is gentle as a lamb. She loves hugs and kisses and tries her very best to make you happy. How could you not love a baby with a smile as wide as her sweet face?Lisa was abandoned on the side of the road with her sister Marge. The temperatures were in the high 90's and these girls had neither food nor water! Someone just left them on the side of the road to die. We tried our darndest to ignore their plight but when I drove by a second time and saw how terrified and hungry they were, we had to help. We brought them food and water in buckets and prayed they would be friendly (since I had heard all the stories about pit bulls). I admit they were leery of us too but as soon as they had a few bites they became our best buddies. Lisa was so thin, and something had caused some serious cuts, but she has never even paused in her outpouring of love and gratitude. What a precious girl. Lisa is especially extra gentle and innocent and loves nothing more than sitting beside you, knowing you are near.Lisa loves kisses and belly rubs, running wide open, and treats. She will make a devoted fur baby to a family that does not have cats or chickens. There once was a sweet girl named Marge who was abandoned on the side of the road with her young daughter, Lisa. The temperature was 90 degrees, and they were left with no food or water beside the highway. Starving and scared, they looked longingly into each car that passed. The sweet pair were so bewildered and seemed to be asking “Are you coming back to get me”, "Where is my family? Why would they drop me in this lonely and scary place?”. Their big brown pleading eyes broke my heart so we had to rescue them, With a bit of coaxing, eventually, we were able to convince them to eat, relax and allow us to put them in our car. Once in the car, we were able to take them to a safe place where they would be given the care they deserved. Unfortunately, the girls don’t understand chickens or kitties, but we hope we can find each of them loving and loyal forever homes. Marge is under 2 years old and Lisa is under 1 year. These girls deserve a home where they can be happy and loved. Both girls are the sweetest, most affectionate dogs that just love to give kisses to everyone they meet! (Except for chickens or cats) Would you consider giving these ladies a loving home? Jet was at the shelter for months and was 24 hours away from being euthanized when we pulled him! He is a super sweet boy who loves fetch and staring into the eyes of his humans. He is dog reactive and needs to be in an only-dog home. Not yet cat or kid tested.

one of the sweetest seniors you'll ever meet! He came to us when he 5-6 years old. He was adopted by a couple that ended up returning him 2 years later. He came back confused but because he knew us from before, he was still the sweet Buddy Boy we knew and loved. He gets along with most dogs, people, and cats!😊
