Story
Hello everyone. My name is Jaxon. My birthday is on January 7th. I was rescued as a stray by Animal Control and brought to Second Chance Shelter in Boaz Alabama on January 7, 2021. I have been at the shelter since I was a year old . I want to be the King of the house so I need to be the only dog. I love people and giving them all kinds of lovings. If you are looking for a dog to give unconditional love and attention, I'm the furbaby for you. I know how to sit, on occasion, and I can wait pretty patiently for my food. My friends here at the shelter love to visit me and I trade kisses for treats. I think I am pretty good at giving kisses.

He has a very bubbly personality and is game for just about anything, hiking, road trip, hanging out with the boys, snuggles, you name it. He gets along well with the other shelter dogs, both girls and boys. He seems to have some skin lesions that need to be treated, but his coat will come back beautiful in no time. If you are interested in adopting Bubba, stop by Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center at 1609 Henry St, Guntersville AL, or call them at 256-582-3184. Story
Sally is 4 years young and loves attention. She is timid at first but once she knows you she will be your best friend and never leave your side. She’s very sweet and quiet. She knows how to sit, shake, lay down and show her belly for rubs on the command “Belly”. She’s my prized possession and I lover her more than anything and have had her since birth. Her brother is Parker he is also up for adoption he is all brown and from the same litter. She’s been spayed before ever coming into heat at 6 months and I’d utd on shots. She is in inside dog but loves to play outside.

Story
This is Darby, She is as much a part of our family as our children. We found her after she had been hit by a car. Her pelvis was broken, she was emaciated, and she had just had puppies. We looked for days for them and never found them. She is the most loving, calm, wonderful soul. She is almost a truly perfect dog. I am forced to rehome her because she is extreemly protective of us and went into our neighbors yard and bit thier 7 year old lab. They have involved the police and we are being forced to either euthanize her or find her a new home. I cant even explain how painful this is, she is bonded to me like a child as I spent a lot of time with her durring her healing. We are guessing she is about 3 to 5 years old. She has escape artist tendencies so a solid fence is a must. She also has had sever trauma on a leash at some point as she is petrified them along with car rides. She prefers women, but has never shown aggression with a man either. There's so much more but I'm out of words
